I don't think I've ever been to an away game where the home team has been so poor so woeful up front so little pressure. I couldn't think of an easier game you could get when your desperate for the points. Its just a shame where so poor we cant take advantage of it and to say they had ten men just rubs salt in the wounds

To be fair to York they defended against us really well. We were predictable and they snuffed us out.

agreed. a lot of people around me were frustrated with the lack of shots on goal but its hard to get a shot away when your closed down as well as that.

any thoughts on the red card? i was buzzing when we got the free kick cos i thought it was a good challenge. couldn't believe it when he pulled out the red. im sure he got the ball cleanly, maybe he was off the ground?

The lad who got sent off was the same lad who broke woods' leg,I believe. That's why there was chew with him as he went off and probably why pools tried so hard to get the c unt sent off. Didn't make much difference though, still got fucking beat.

According to Russ Wilcox it was the best performance from a team he's managed!? Really Russ!? It was a great win for them obviously playing half a game with ten men but to win was a complete fluke. I've have never seen a team attack so little yet score a goal. Even though our tempo was too slow and passed and passed it to death we must have missed four clear cut opportunities in the last ten minutes alone, Jordan Jones missed a virtual open goal right as the end he only had to hit the target.

He also said they had magnificent backing, it was almost silent even when the goal went. Mind it has to be the worst ground for acoustics in the entire football league. It's still a great away day like which won't be the same when they move.

Plymouth last season, luke james, we got battered after going down to 10 men and nicked it with about 20 mins to go, they threw everything at us after we scored but we held on.

They had magnificent backing?
Wilcox himself had to rouse them to,make a noise.

It's always a crap atmosphere at york which wasn't helped by the poor performance. The players need to take more responsibility, way too slow and predictable.

Just read what Wilcox said and his words are exactly what you'd see from a manager under pressure personally. talking to some York fans before the game who said the fans had been calling for him to get the sack and saying he should never have got the job from the start. Instead saying Ronnie should have been appointed so I just think he was trying to get the fans back onside.

Not only did he say they will be appealing the red card but he went as far as saying it wasn't even a foul! Yes the player made very little contact but you can't go diving in two footed. This is the same lad who broke Woods' leg and is still diving in two footed. I think he needs to quickly learn the difference between commitment and being dangerous because diving in like that he could very easily have broke another players leg in less than a couple of months.

Tackle looks worse on TV than it did at time.
