First time I have seen the lad but for me he must be first on the team sheet! Total class player on that showing brilliant movement on and off the ball looked head n shoulders better than anyone else on the pitch by a country mile and kept on making chance after chance and wanted the ball all the time! On that showing this lad is a very special talent and must be first on the team sheet for the final games. sctatchinghead

He shows promise every time he plays, however he is sent back to the subs bench next game, sometimes your face doesn`t fit sctatchinghead

I thought he was tidy but first name on team sheet no way. Harrison Mirfin Tishibola far exceed his input. He shows promise for me.

I think he needs to start instead of walker on Saturday. Is a lot better going forward, has more fight and determination about him. Not surprised walker got took off after his involvement in their goal

He seemed to be technically better than walker. I'd certainly start him ahead of walker at york.

Walker really seems to be the new whipping boy.

No credit whatsoever for him coming back into the team and playing pretty well yet as soon as he has an off day people are calling for him to be dropped again. He didn't have the best day he looked a bit leggy and was rightfully subbed. He's our only midfielder likely to pop up with the goal though and they are all precious right now so for that reason he's still in my team for York. Plus like I said he's been doing well and contributing to a team thats been picking up points.

I like Hawkins, I have no doubt he can be a good player for us but I wouldn't be starting him as I don't think anyone warrants dropping, If the Newport defender hadn't scored the own goal Walker was behind for a tap in so he could very well have been on 3 goals in 4 games right now so I defiantly wouldn't drop him. The only possible player I think you could leave out is Tish with his niggle but he says he is fine and having played this double header it can't be that bad. I'd leave things as they are but have Hawkins as the first sub to come on, as has been the case in recent weeks.

This is an improvement for Hawkins still as Sam Collins had been the only one to take a chance on him in the team and he did pretty well. Cooper gave him a couple of sub appearances at the end of last season and he came on at Wycombe only to be sent off this. Apart from that no permanent manager had gave him a look in. At Spennymoor on his months loan he seemed to be at the centre of anything they created and would be good experience for him. It's about time he was given a more prominent role as he is getting now but I wouldn't change the current team unless necessity forced our hand.

To give brad credit he has played well the last couple of games and chipped in with a couple of goals, how ever when you look at the 2nd half against southend and lets be honest they were a good strong team Brad wasn't really in the game and when hawkins came on his game is pace power and strength and that is why we battered them for the last 30 minutes.
I believe Hawkins should start against York alongside Nicky and Tish that would give us a strong mobile midfield we will just have to wait and see how ronnie sees it.
My fingers are crossed for Hugill or Fenwick to be fit cos if Marlon is leading the line we will just play into yorks defenders game and the ball will just come straight back

He did well playing on the right in a 4-4-2, we won't start the game with that formation.

wouldn't change the team, they've done well recently so why change it.

yes, walker looked very tired but he's been very good and the midfield 3 of him, tish and featherstone have really given us a strong imposing figure on the games. Southend were a good side so don't think it's that drastic to start calling for people to be dropped.

plus as has been pointed out, walker is most likely to pop up with a goal from our midfield and we need every goal source we can have on the pitch.

Marlon did well I thought on Saturday, which is strange because I just don't ever expect us to score with him up front. Hopefully Hugill is fit and fenwick can take place on bench and get a run out for last 15/20 minutes if comes unscathed through the reserve game tonight.

I see the game on Saturday being very tight, York probably see a point as a good result albeit at home aiming for 3.

York are relatively poor at home, we've picked up 7 points from a possible 9 on the road and we'll have a big following possibly outnumbering York altogether.

So yeah home win all day long

4 points from these next 2 games is an absolute minimum, no reason why can't get 6 though.

Going by your valued opinion and what I watched on Saturday this lad is heading for a very bright future in football and I would like to see Ronnie giving him the chance to shine at York because I really believe I witnessed a very very special / confident & fearless / young man with lodsa talent on Saturday! I have supported this lot since 1974 and in that time have only ever seen one TOTALLY OUTSTANDING YOUNGIN and that was Don Hutchinson who was sold to a very good Liverpool side at the timefor £300 grand and was a quality player at Anfield. You either have quality or you dont simple and for me the lad Hawkins is the next young player to progress to the premier league and be a star.

Granted, he looks a decent player. But bloody hell, you may be getting carried away.

^ This.

There is potential there but Im not convinced he should be starting games yet nevermind comparing him to Don the dick.

Can't we just sell him to Peterborough now to avoid the last minute nonsense.

They wouldn't let him place the bet, according to the manager of Coral "Space cake is not legal tender"

Only time will tell Yubep but I still believe that this lad will be a top player even though I admit to only seeing him once
