Automatic so will use more petrol then a manual, whilst I have driven automatics and like them, great for round the town in slow moving traffic, no gear changing needed, they are not very good on the snow and ice, you can't control your speed via the gears. The ones I had were three speed so the only way to slow down was brake, not ideal in icy conditions.

If it was a woman it would be Bella Emberg HTH

Get a Jap car, more for your money and better reliability.

Iv'e worked at Sherwoods Vauxhall at stockton for a few months in sales and can tell you that your SE should have 1/2 leather, heated seats and possibly heated steering wheel. Best logging onto Sherwoods used car website and having a look at cars of the same spec.

i sold cars for a year, all types and the Ford is the better car, Vauxhall is dreary and drive is gash, better mpg on the ford also.
I have driven loads of makes, Mazda is a nice drive and fitting with your age!

Nazi or nip is the best pick unless you go for the left field quality Swedish option.

The rest are just a choice of different types of shit.

Take one out for a test drive and rag the arse off it, only way you`ll know if you will like it and what it can do, took a jap out once in a BMW Z4 convertible, he did 140mph on a dual carriage way in Birtley, scared the shit outta me and despite my screams and the lack of English communication, we got back safely, got the nickname Skidmark after that sadx

SAABS are basically vauxhalls underneath. Vauxhall bought there diesel engines off Fiat. Mazdas are basically Fords underneath and so are Volvo. French stuff is stylish but fragile. Audi skoda VW and Seat are all made from the same parts but don't mention it to Audi drivers as it upsets them.

Astras are ok but a Focus is better. Vauxhalls have never really been that good at holding value either.
