Bad feeling about this one. 2-0 defeat but then bounce back on Monday to take a very satisfactory 3 points from a very tough weekend.

2-1 Pools with Featherstone and Hugill notching either side of Newports goal with us surviving a sustained onslaught and a missed penalty late on

Tranmere lose and Cheltenham draw with York so we go 4 points clear and ahead of Carlisle who also lose

Tough one to call

Newport have won only 1 of their last 6 at home - pools have won their last 2 away matches

their fans have written us off and expect a home win -
Can't call it - but have stuck some money on a pools win 10/3 with bet365.

I'd be over the moon with a point from both of the next 2 games...our biggest tests by far.

No tishibola.....might upset the balance, going for a 1-1 draw 306 Poolies.

I think today will be the hardest of our remaining games being a long trip to a promotion chasing team at a bit of a dump ground so I'll take the point. I did dream last night that we'd either win 1-0 or draw 1-1 with a last minute Hugill equaliser so ...

1-1 Hugill in the dying minutes
246 Pools fans

If we can get past these two games no worse off that we are now it will be a big achievement. 0-0 today. RM will go 9-1-1

If eleven Pools players all play their socks off, we become Cabo Verde vs Portugal.
Or if they don't, we become Lithuania vs England.

I'll go somewhere between the two.
2-2 with Hugill getting two deflections off his arse, one each half, one each cheek.

He's is doubly right his club have just come from 2-0 down as well.

Yeovil and Pools were both naive to score that second goal, poor tactically.
