Talking to few people in there and seems to be a few coaches going. Thought people would be going on train. What's peoples plans. Think we could sell 3000 if get that many

I honestly don't understand why people are buying tickets now, we still have 7 games to go and could still end up in the bottom 2. The last place on this earth I would like to be would be Carlisle awayy

Loyalty and not wanting to miss out on a ticket might have something to do with it!

Leave it until later and miss out altogether - I guess might have something to do with it.

Miss ou on what, we have achieved nothing yet, yes we have won 4 games on the bounce, people are all popping up thinking everything is rosey down at Victoria Park, look back 4 weeks ago.

Miss out on possibly one of our biggest games in our history maybe. Carlisle aren't daft get the tickets sent out early while were on a roll get a few hundred easy sales.

nobody has forgotten anything. But yes we've won four, yes were out of the relegation two and yes we could be back in there come 2nd May. But as we are on a roll we need to support the lads, then we can fire fight the crap that has brought this season to where it is. But how would you react should it be the week before and the winner of that game survives? We've already sold 2000 for York. 3000 possibly should the situation require 3 points!

You'd want to be there I'm sure?

It would take a miracle if we are safe before the exeter game so fans waiting 9 days before the carlisle game are taking the risk of nit getting a ticket as demand for tickets will be higher than the allocation.
It could be the biggest game in the clubs history my advice is get them while you can its only a 2 hour journey anyway.

I'm afraid the advocates of being at the most important game ever in the history of the club ( I've been to quite s few of them down the years ) are visualising it as the great decider, the dramatic last gasp gunfight at the OK Coral... it may, but it probably won't.
Like Chip says, there's ways of seeing it without running about like Corporal Jones shouting don't panic.

Not in any hurry to get a ticket, if they sell out then so be it, will go in the Carlisle End.

exactly my point.

If you cant get excited about these last few matches there's something missing. At this moment in time where not safe and Carlisle aren't and judging by pools history it tends to go to last game deciders and even if there isn't anything to play for its a local derby with plenty of needle involved. I'm not a season ticket holder so don't bother going I will have a ticket instead.

I read what you said and if you don't want to go then fair enough. To me its the last game you get to see for months its a derby and id still go if there no relegation involved as I think the lads who got us out of this mess deserve a massive support behind them. We have some extremely tough games yet to play I reckon it will go to wire.

Eh its the same lads that got us in this mess. And I wouldn't say local derby.

The team has totally changed in the last few months barring one or two usual suspects. If we had of kept the same team we would be long gone. York and Carlisle are our derby games now.

I was at Brentford as well - where the result on the day ensured Pools safety. I guess that would be why some people were celebrating. Guess you didn't then?

How about relieved but furious we end up in these situations in the first place.

I will be celebrating at Carlisle if we have stayed up because it will of been a bloody miracle considering the rubbish we have had to put up with from players and ior that doesn't mean to say I've forgot to what's gone before. Its obvious to me and many others we need new owners. We now have a new manager half a new team fighting for the shirt and for the club. What the lad two or three months should of shown to ior or prospective owners that compared to a lot of clubs in this division their is a lot of potential there.

We all have our opinions and thats what makes the bunker it would be priety boring if we all agreed with each other.
It is a bit strange that we celebrate not getting relegated the same way as we get promoted. But if we do pull of the great escape and its still a massive ask i will celebrate it like weve won the champions league.
The Vic is a brilliant place to be when its rocking like v cambridge no way do i want that experience to come to an end.

I agree with the last post that there is a lot of potential at the club for new owners to come in and make a success of it.thats why staying up must be achieved this season.

Agree, but I think the low expectation has been there for all its existence. This season has to magnify that with atrocious performances on the pitch and god knows what intrigues off it, yet at the last minute some form is found and minds are reset to zero as though the season started three weeks ago and I wouldn'tbe surprised if some eejit hadn't checked the tables on Saturday night to see if the playoffs were s possibility.
We've had three lousy seasons and this one is the icing on the tombstone and still the penny hasn't dropped with some people.
Celebrate, then start asking questions, stop being happy just clinging on.... because sooer rather than later you won't be celebrating.

No way will i be happy with us just clinging on every season.
If we stay up the celebrations will be mainly down to relief.

I hate ior thats why i put the banner up at the beginning of the season because i could see what was coming back then another season of strugling.
Until they are gone nothing will change for the better.
They are bleeding the club dry slashing the playing staff year on year not reinvesting the transfer money back into the team etc.

And yet some fans think the sun shines out of hodcrofts arse because hes putting ticket offers on.
Count the two games over xmas and these ticket offer games which will probably last for the rest of the season the club will of made about 80k straight into the owners pockets.

RANT OVER FOR NOW

I decided a few mths back to give Carlisle a swerve, the first 'last' away fixture of the season I will have missed in about 10 years. I just couldn't face it, we were playing so badly and the thought of being so far from home, watching another inept performance and then running the gauntlet back to the train station. No thanks.

Changed my mind now but too late, the train costs £113

Re celebrating, just playing devils advocate here but we got promoted at Scunthorpe under Newell a few years back but I don't remember any celebrating that day bbolt

But £113 is just loose change to a man of your substantial means?

Well if it's on a message board it's bound to be legit. After all pools did go into admin 5 times this season as rumoured on here.

I think I may have persuaded someone to drive, 660 mile round trip from Chessington and the driver doesn't support pools  will probably need to wait to see if there is something to play for first though confised

Carlisle an away day that has never captivated me. I will be going if there is something riding on it, otherwise will give it a miss, would of thought as things stand it will go down to the wire.
