Anyone having a punt on the horses today might be interested in First Bombardment in the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster today, he's second favourite at the moment at around 7/2. Named after the attack on Hartlepool in WW1, the syndicate that own him are all from the Hartlepool area, they wanted the Pools colours for him to run in but they were already taken so had to make do with sky blue body, royal blue and white striped sleeves and cap. Adds a bit of interest and hopefully can be a good start to a good afternoon.

Shit days racing like. Only thing I'd be half tempted to back would be Astaire from Kevin Ryans yard, the retired Jamie Spencer riding
