In a strange kind of way this season has had quite a few positives for me. It will be difficult to reflect on that if we go down but hopefully I will still remember. I have probably never been so passionate about Pools:

1) I'm celebrating every goal wherever I am because I know how much it matters (It seems a long time since every game has been so important)

2) I'm checking the bunker and the official website daily to find out everything that's going on..funny how the bunker is so much better for that then the official website

3) I'm considering away games I never would have done before like a 6 hour round trip to Newport on Good Friday

4) The season has highlighted to me how crucial it is that we set up a supporters trust and get more involved in the running of the club. Life without Pools in the league is bad enough, but life without Pools altogether would be devastating. And to this end I'll give everything I realistically can.

Having gone through some seasons as a season ticket holder where games have been either won or lost very early (I can only remember 2 goals in the last 10 mins between 2009 and 2012, O'Donovan hat-trick v Southend and Monkhouse? v Leeds) it's so nice to have that excitement back...even if last night it was all nervous energy.

So whatever happens I will at least be partly thankful for the season we've had. I'm no more looking forward to trips to Woking, Eastleigh or Braintree than anyone else but hopefully if we do go down, we'll feel more like it's our club and have a team, manager and fans with passion and fight for the challenge.

Agreeing fully. Was sat listening to game last night and was playing FIFA (yes im a sad fucker playing computer games etc etc)against a mate online and thus had a headset on. Not often I scream when we score but I nearly deafened him.

Even my usually reserved old man even text me saying "yeeeessssssss" when we took the lead. He aint usually arsed.

My away attendances had dwindled but York and Carlisle look like certainties at this point and possibly others.

My season will have finished by the time the Carlisle game rolls around. I don't know if I'll have trouble getting tickets but if I can go I will go regardless of the travel time. York and Carlisle are going to be electric if we can keep up current form!
