Our leading scorer has 5
our best attacking formation some joker said was today the reality is we played 3 full backs or if you want 2 full backs and 3 centre rarfs
we are still down everyone

You get a grip.

We may well be down but the day we can't enjoy a win is the day we should all wrap in.

Its our first away win since October and first away clean sheet in 23 games. We deserved to win today, it was tense, I was on the edge of my seat and my heart was racing. I'm damn sure I'm going to enjoy this win!

All the other results went for us today so I fail to see why you think people shouldn't dream!

Fenwick is due back before the end of the season and with a bit of luck he will come back firing. Today was by no means out best performance or an exciting formation but that doesn't matter anymore. All we need to do is win, we did that today, defended manfully and I'm going to enjoy it.

Tell you what, just fook right off. I have always said that we are down when we are mathematically down. A positive attitude can make a huge difference. I actually think some people want us to go down

I've had a cracking day out! We deserved 3 points today! I'm a daft 'lovely lovely person' who thinks we can still stay up!

How did the formation suit us? Ducky at left wing back?

I was thinking about it but decided against it. Wish I had gone now, sounded like a good day

wasn't there, listened to it on tees, that was nerve wrenching enough. great battling performance. first away win in 5 months and a clean sheet!!!...... all you could hear in the background on the commentary was the poolie supporters singing their hearts out all game....well done guys and gals!!!!!!! apparantly the singing caused that much concern about 12 stewards and the local plod stood in front of them all!!!! well done to the players for showing up and giving a gutsy performance to grab the 3 pts. keep it up for oxford and a great big up to the supporters that went there and backed the team 100% as normal. must be made up coming home.

they bring the tide in by reducing the points but then let it go out again the next game..... here's hoping that has instilled the belief they can do it getting a result away from home and a clean sheet. the fans do their part, come on lads a positive result at oxford please. back to back positive results is running out. believe ?...well i hope and pray and certainly believe we can do it till its mathematically possibe it is not.

I was at Dagenham the other week. First 20 minutes, great football but did we look like scoring? The most creative player around the penalty area when he came on was Marlon. Great win today but was it any different? We can't rely on everyone obliging with own goals. We are 2 back to back wins from being back in touch with the rabble of League 2 but is that realistic? Hope that today has instilled a bit of self conviction.

At its peek I counted 22 police and stewards in front of us after I listened to the head one radioing through that it was 'them against us' as our fans wanted and he needed back up because he was worried who'd cover him if we 'got him down'.

I think Bird would have probably scored had the defender not got his toe to it first and we did have one cleared off the line and a Dan Jones header early on that probably should have been put it.

We have 10 games left to amass 20 points to get us to the magic 50 but I think a team could probably get a few less and stay up as there are still so many teams scrapping it out. 5 home games and 5 away left. Obviously we have to target a win in all 5 home games and probably away at York and Carlisle which would put us on 51 points. The probability of that going to plan is slim but we have the monkey off our backs with a clean sheet and a win away. After Tuesday we have 2 home games on the spin. Win the home games and we can have no fear, the pressure will be on the other teams. I'm not saying we will stay up but there's plenty of football still to be played and if we can make it uncomfortable for the teams above us then hope lives on

It was very like dagenham in my opinion, I could never see dagenham scoring but for the keeper going down injured and pools losing concentration after the re-start. Morecambe offered nothing in the first half but must have had 5 or 6 good opportunities in the second half but failed to hit the target. Most blasted over the bar. Difference with dagenham waspools got the goal and had something to hang onto.

The pools players dug in and deserved what they got today.

Didnt sound like Dagenham on the radio, sounded like we defended very well when under immense pressure at times, Harrison sounded immense, surely the only candidate for player of the year. No doubt he will be signing for Bradford soon

My points is every time is fans big the team up they produce a Dagenham performance no one wants them to win more than me but let us keep a dose of reality everyone

What I can't fault is that despite the condemnation, often justified, of the lack of will of the team over the season, nearly 20% of the crowd yesterday were from Pools.

I actually think we're gonna survive.
Heart ruling the head it might sound but that is all I've got to cling on to.
Yes I am getting carried away after one win but it was a "potential turning point win" and just could make all the difference.
