I was at the meeting and although it is early days, it is extremely encouraging.

I spoke to three people today who didn't attend last weeks trust meeting; I gave them all the thumbs up and told them to come along next time. The ideas suggest appealed and one used the analogy of small acorns and i couldn't agree more.

I plead with everyone to get behind the trust movement and id everybody can get 2 or even just 1 more person to join in then your doing your bit

That's what I meant. Without them, no wages get paid, no bills get paid and the club ceases to exist. Until a suitable alternative is in place, whatever and whoever that is, then they are at least keeping the club afloat - even if it is sinking fast!

How do you figure that Geoff? They are not putting money in, they are trading on gate reciepts, prize money, TV money, transfer income and other small revenue lines. Now admittedly that will have already been spent but they can't just empty all of the money out of the bank account and future earnings. Hard to see where the money is without looking at the management accounts but I'm damn sure its not being suplimented by IOR.

Sorry but I don't get this club being self sufficient thing.

Money from season ticket sales (cheapest in the country) all came in almost a year ago - what is made on matchdays now must be negligible.

Cooper brought in Harewood Parnaby Bates and Miller - probably the highest paid players on Pools books.

The transfer money is paid in instalments - over God know how many months.

The money Pools get from TV is negligible, and is not supplemented by a vast amount of love appearances 9 (admittedly we did get the FA cup game)

Compensation has probably had to be paid to get rid of Cooper/Murray/Donachie.

Most of the profits from the club shop will go to whoever owns it - Pools don't.

The sales of pies and soft drinks/food does not go to the club. It goes to the person who has paid to operate them.

They may not be contributing much - and certainly much less than has been the case in the past. They want out and if not prepared to invest then the sooner the better, but to say they are not contributing - and to go as far as to say that they are pocketing money really does go too far in my opinion.

They are pocketing money, that is an undeniable fact. Both take a salary from the club. Which in the positions they of course they are entitled to, the big question is how much and where did these 1.6 million in admin fees go? You're a shareholder so I'm presuming you've seen the accounts doesn't this concern you?

I am not trying to defend the lack of investment or the way things have been run over the last 2/3 years or the lack of information that comes out from on high. I quite agree that this has been very poor and best and totally unacceptable at worst. KH and RG must take the blame for this.

What I am trying to say is that if IOR simply walked away today then there would be nobody else to pay wages, bills etc. Of course some are of the belief that HUFC are one of the VERY few clubs that are actually making a profit and that the said KH and RG must be pocketing all the money. This theory I cannot subscribe to.

If indeed we are self sufficient why isn't there are queue of potential new owners breaking down the door to get a slice of the action. And more to the point - where is my share dividend!

Green stated we had a turnover of 3 million which is quite a bit in comparison to our rivals. Cambridge fr example have a turnover of about 1.75 million I believe and I assume accringtons is about a tenner. To my best knowledge we are allowed to spend 40%? On wages (I may be wrong). Do you honestly believe we are? With Peter Hartley saying its slave labour and our squad being tiny I can't see it.

The money is going somewhere and it's not going in to pools. It's paying the 'loans' which IOR have provided over their ownership. For God sake they aren't even putting money in for the pitch and asking us to instead!

As for having the cheapest season tickets..... Accrington charged £200 and only sold about 600.

That 3 million figure was from the last published accounts, over the last two seasons you can add another half million from Baldwin and James, and yet we still cannot even get into a relegation dogfight because we are so far off second bottom. I can tell you right now if IOR had walked the beginning of the season we would not be in this position. I cannot believe anyone is still standing up for these leeches, where is the fucking money going. Not into HUFC that's for sure.

Hodcroft and Green RIP - they should be regarded as dead meat as far as our club is concerned. The sooner that their mortal remains are removed from the scene of their criminal regime the sooner that true recovery can commence. As someone mentions above, it is high time to erase these parasites from having had any association with the club, their inaction over the past five years leading to the loss of FL status has totally eclipsed whatever went before.
