Mary Rowntrees Tea Room and Restaurant is now under new management - located up at the Headland with a fantastic view.

The new manager and part owner is Andy Briscoe, a few will probably know him. Hes Pools chief steward/safety officer and used to work at the bowling alley for years.

Open every day from 9am closing 5pm except thurs-sat where it is open till 11pm. We have a top chef and would definately give it a try.

Often read feedback on here of places to eat in the town and whether its good or bad I would love to hear some feedback on here.

Can find us on facebook or trip advisor and if anyone wants to offer some reasonably priced services for a website we want to get that up and running too.

If you would like to book give us a ring 868313.

I'll second that.

Good lad Dean, and a cracking chef too.

Taking mothers day bookings, about half full so far but will soon fill up completely. Tel 868313

Menu will be a choice of Sunday lunches (starters and desserts too), a few regular meals fish and chips, scampi etc or paninis but also the popular choice edwardian afternoon tea.

Alternatively if you message me on here I can book you in.

Edwardian Tea is £12.95

Tea/Coffee
Sandwiches
Quiche
Scones
Cakes
Pork Pie (or other)

That is usually enough for 2 people but extras can be ordered!
