David Atkinson for Boro; top player. Alright he never played a single minute for the club but he was mint at warming up.

Matt Crooks as well, ok again I never saw him on the field although he did feature in a couple of away games, top top signing.

Loan players are the future.

When Rafferty left to pursue a career outside of football.

About 14 loan players there we used this season and i think only HARRISON made permanent.
A cheap way to run a fooball club suits ior perfect especially when the loan club contributes towards the wages.

How many are you allowed a season? 16 must be near the limit?

Am I the only one that finds this thread and news depressing?

17 loan players?

That is bad enough, but what makes it worse, there are some fans, STILL thinking IOR are doing a good job.

Are these fans and Russ Green in the freemasons I wonder?

Fookinell!! .......17  ....... Thats a full side including subs. The money we have been paying them would have paid for a few good permanent signings! :angry-screaming: We are a joke, thanks Ken & co. rakxe

When you consider the million pounds plus we have had from transfer fees plus the television money its abundantly clear money is being sucked out of the club to subsidise IOR.

There's a 200k parachute payment due end of May apparently. Does anyone still seriously think these people will spend it on footballers ?

Some of us were saying spend or go as far back as October, well they certainly didnt spend, and they are showing no signs of going. Maybe they need another push ?

Careful now.

The club men will be ordered back on to defend Green fabulous record.

Cant remember exact numbers but I'm sure we used over 50 players in our last league season including signed on players, loans and short term contracts. Seemed to have a different signing in the team most weeks and most were dog turd.

My memory must be a little fuzzy, but didnt Ken dedicate one of his columns a couple of years ago to slagging off Yeovil Town for using the loan system to get promoted to the Championship. I guess its Ok if you just bring a load of dross in on free loans.

This is the same bloke who's spouted 'don't embarrass us don't relegated' for 17 years though.

How's that one going Kenneth?

Fortunately, everything he comes out of his mouth or he puts in the programme is riddle strewn horse shit. I'd rather not hear.

Got to agree. Whatever Hodcroft puts out these days is written to suit him & is a page in the programme where I go 'aye, whatever' and quickly turn over!
