It’s time to move on.

I’ve always rejected the notion that as fans we have an obligation to be universally positive. Hartlepool United Football Club is a matter we care deeply and passionately about, something that Ken Hodcroft and Russ Green could never feel, I’d be worried if fans were non-plussed about mistakes and failures made by the Club. We should absolutely make a noise when things don’t look right.

A big part of the reason for the volume of the noise in the past months / years was that there was little response from the Club to deal with supporters’ concerns. We were waiting for the response but it never came.

The whole of this journey (it’s a clichéd term, but frankly, it has been a journey) kept in the dark for years.

In response to all the team has done, as fans, we’ve given a lot back. I think we’ve been more vocal than in recent seasons in our support for the team, We’ve been more patient than usual when things haven’t gone our way, its been mentioned on here before that years ago the fans wouldn't have been so patience with the board, I was there in the mid 70's shouting sack the board and so on.

If there isn’t a great relationship between fans, the board and CEO, there’s certainly a great relationship between fans and our town Hartlepool

Let’s appreciate that if any town can survive in the Conference League against the odds, it’s this one.

Let’s not support the team because we have an obligation to be 100% supportive at all times – we don’t – but let’s support the team because we understand that that’s our best chance of survival.

We’ve vented our dissatisfaction to the board unfortunately we can’t change the past, but we can change the future.

I'm sure Hartlepool United and us the fans will come closer together and once again make HartlepoolUnited the towns club.

Why is that, I dont mean with IOR at the Helm I'm looking to the future with the trust.

You have hope with A&E returning back to Hartlepool, I have hope that Hartlepool United will once again be the towns Club
