......... I've actually accepted we aren't going to pull out of this mess. I'm not even going to bother blaming the players.. because this is the result of years of indifference and underinvestment.... a club in gentle free fall, the only surprise being the length of time it took to crash to earth..... I was never this unoptomistic during the re-election bids , but this past few years feels like a gentle descent into obscurity, a gradual salami slicing of ambition till we end up resigned to disaster......... as a club, it appears we're being put to sleep.

To be honest every local sponsor should cut ties with IOR and Russ Green, boycott the boxes for remaining games have nothing to do with the club until they go.

Surely this can't go on much longer, if it was a boxing match the white towel will be thrown in now.

Fans and Sponsors should BOYCOTT anything to do with ior and donate to the fans owned trust.

Basically cut the money supply off to ior and when they finally go we have something to fall back on when that day arrives.

The problem is most won't share that view. We need to be proactive not reactive in saving our club but I fear that's not the view of many.

And there's the catch, most people really can't be arsed...they expect someone to turn up and make everything better....... trouble is will the owners ever sell....? Till they go, we're in limbo.

I'm not so sure its apathy. Up to now it has been IOR or bust. If the trust gets the go ahead and starts building momentum then I'm convinced people will get on board.

Ten years ago we all had the daft idea of redoing Never Say Die. It started on the boards and gained legs. By us all working together, hissy fits aside, we put a record in the top 30 out of a couple of shops in a small town beating some big name group in along the way. What I learned in that process is that the town gets behind things it believes in. Yes its insular but its proud and given a head of steam the townsfolk will support this.

How can you say that when we were promoted two years later with 88 points?

..and then they sacked that particular Managervfor a couple of "average" seasons. (Average meaning 15th in League One). they couldn't run a bath Mick.

Welcome back BTW, when Are you back on the terrace?

Who told you that? I forecast this mess 7 or 8 years ago and I got pelters off some of the big players on this board. How ironic!

Not from me Ronnie, I was whinging about problems at the club when Neale Cooper was sacked first time round. Different problems granted but all was clearly not well.

Did they fire him? I reckoned at the time that he walked. Straight to Swindon. (Which, when you think about, it also an indictment of the owners.)
