If there was ever an away game that was there for the taking, reducing the gap further and brining us right into the mix, this was it.

Yet we were DIRE. Beaten by a really poor home side, but all that says is we were worse. Started brightly, but without creating any clear chance, but as soon as the OG went in, we were beaten. A worldy free kick and it was the same old same old.

Ronnie Moore said some of these players will be working in Asda soon, tell you what, I can imagine it's quite competitive to get a job in Asda and I'm sure at interview you'd have to show willingness to work hard, enthusiasm and desire. Some of these players will quiet simply be unemployed shortly.

21 quid in to watch zero quality from either side, in a non league ground in front of 1700 people. That's the future, I don't fancy it one bit.

Does Moore deserve any stick amongst this shambles? Haven't we lost every away game under him? You'd like to see a different approach to away games than what he has....

I just can,t get my head round why he insists on playing Franks who can,t tackle, beat a man, put a cross in or even simply take a corner FFS! banghead

Football fans aren,t in general stupid so if we can see it why can,t a manager. We had Jordan Jones on the bench who has pace, is willing to take a player on which is what Franks is supposed to do, He has dropped Dan Jones who is willing to put his head in and give 100% who can play left back instead of Austin, and Duckworths head seems to have gone, he isn,t the player he was from before Xmas.

Last night those players should have been dying to get out on the pitch and fight for those 3 points I was looking forward to Saturday before last night, now I am dreading it. sadx

No clean sheets away from home all season under 4 different managers.
At least 3 away wins required a big ask to say the least!

Did you watch the games Jones played at left back?

I'm certainly not a fan of austin but Jones was out of his depth so badly playing as a full back. He even said himself he isn't a left back and was just played there in youth/reserves because had no left footed defenders

Iv not seen Jordan Jones do much but he simply must offer more than Franks does. Mind, he is due a goal around now which will no doubt mean he keeps his place for another 5/6 games.

I heard it was symbolic....Ronnie may have his hands tied in some ways but away performances are nowhere near good enough. The players are simply not good enough. Unless there is a clear out that's it for me.

I can see a lot of fans waiting till the last week of the deadline before deciding whether to renew there season tickets. And if the mass clear out dosent happen then the crowds will drop to well under 2000!!

I said on another thread on Monday that with Woods out for the rest of the season I didn't think Pools could afford to set up 4-4-2 in away games. Franks, Compton and Featherstone all playing means 3 non-tackling midfielders on the pitch!

In Pools' predicament logic says go for a win every game but it hasn't worked at all away from home.

Ronnie is an attack-minded manager but with the personnel he has fit I'd be happier if he was doing a Mick Wadsworth away from home - set up to not get beat and maybe nick a win.

For a start, bring Dan Jones back into the team and play 5-3-2. To be honest, I'd do that against Burton on Saturday as well.

I think Moore started with wrong team last night. Am big fan of not changing winning team, but I would of started with Walker and Harewood, not that I know nothing about football like

An out of favour and form young midfielder and a striker that has proven he's not got any goals left in him, I doubt they would have made an ounce of difference.

Featherstone is not Woods, that's clear, but still too many players performed under the level that is required to win a game of professional football at league two level.

I agree with what has been said already, why franks consistently gets games like its his God given right is beyond me. Hawkins should have been getting a start ahead of him but for some reason he's been loaned out

Had a couple of photos to post but the forum won't allow the size.... Pools started brightly but never looked like scoring. Dag were pony and there for the taking too.
