Hello all. Walsall fan here in peace.

First of all just want to say a big well done for yesterday's result. Since moving up to the north east i have always had a massive soft spot for your club (I've felt we are clubs with similar stature) probably helped by the occasion when all trains were stopped after the last Walsall match i went to at Victoria Park and was "stranded" in the tiny pub on the station with some london based poolies.

We got some free of charge taxis that was going to Darlington (i lived there at the time- dont hold it against me) but for some reason they declined my offer to have a drink with me in Hogans at Darlington.

Anyway, I've got a new hobby of doing some short films (recently did one on Walsall's match before Wembley) and i would really like to do one on Hartlepools plight that will (hopefully) end with you staying up.

I'm planning on coming to at least one game before the end of the season and was wondering if anyone would like to take part in my short film. It will be the usual interview type thing but anything libellous won't be allowed (chairmen get a bit funny about that sort of thing!). I would really like to hear from genuine Hartlepool supporters rather than my own take on the situation and it would be great if i could "interview" people before and after the particular match. My style and tech is very rough and ready (as shown in the film below) but my enthusiasm is genuine.

I'm not planning on this project being as light-hearted as my last one and if anyone was to take part i would give you the opportunity to watch the final project and if you really wasn't happy with the outcome then i would change or remove you from the final film before putting on Youtube.

You won't become famous - my last football video is at about 900 views (which is more than enough for me!) but if anyone does decide to take part it will at least be something different. I also probably won't film as much of the match (its a real pain in the arse).

I'm also aware that you are the last of the established football league teams not to have got to Wembley - sorry about that.

If anyone is interested (and i hope someone is) then please contact me on here or "heedsaddler@yahoo.co.uk"

The link for my previous vid is: http://youtu.be/ll_DvGZ4wXc

If that doesn't work then please google "heed saddler - 90 minutes from Wembley (aka vodka, scratchings, pavlova)"

Cheers

How about doing one on a birth of a supporters trust?

That's not a bad idea....

Problem is i dont know if I've got the freetime to give the topic justice.

Plus, trust members might not like the idea of an idiot yam yam running around filming everyone on his phone...

We'll never get to Wembley in my lifetime, we could'nt even get to the Fifth Round of the F.A Cup in the 40 years I've been following us. Our record in the League Cup is worse, and our record in the JPT is nothing short of an embarrassment.
I do picture myself in my 80's (in many years from now) somehow watching us better our record, but everytime we've had an opportunity to progress we've ballzed it up, or the grim reaper appears and cripples one of our better players or sends them off to another team for a pittance, and of course I don't want to wait that long. sadx

To be fair we would have been to Wembley if they weren't rebuilding it; at the time Cardiff was the equivalent. I don't think its truly a fair reflection of our crapness

Isn't there only one automatic promotion from the Conference? It may happen sooner than you think..
