Was at the reserves today heard him on the phone was off to Cambridge v Wimbledon he is certainly clocking up the miles. Could it be to have a look at Wimbledon ready for Saturday and to sign Ryan bird on loan as they added Matt Harold on loan from Crawley bird is probably surplus to requirements ??

He gets the bus ticket refunded (if he can justify not taking the bike).

I read an amusing article once about a pensioner testing how far he could get on a travel pass. He got a considerable distance but not the length of the country.

I think Britain is one of the few countries where they just give you stuff when you're 60 without having to keep an army of civil servants employed to make sure you're capable of filling very important forms in. Doesn't stop people complaining though.

You can get to Cornwall from Teesside totally Free Of Charge if you are over 60.

Let's be honest, an average striker is a huge improvement on what we have that aren't injured

To be fair the same was said of Fenwick and Bingham. Fenwick has went on to score plenty and Bingham by all accounts was very good. Looks like in our position we just need to take a punt and hope it pays off because its all we are gonna get.

Doesn't seem what we need. He's 6"4, I'm guessing probably slow and gangly (we have these options already) has a poor record in pro football.

But this is what we're reduced to now.
