I have finally arrived at the point where the drowning man gives up and lets go... no point in further struggling......... it's over. I've never given up, but this season, as the culmination of the previous five years of lack of ambition, is the one where the wheels finally fall off.The average player has all the attributes of the the scarecrow, lion and tin man in the Wizard of Oz in one body....!
I'll be there next season... business as usual, but I won't forgive or forget the circumstances that culminated in this humiliation.

Yup. Stayed overnight in Manchester last night, and drove home this morning straight past Bury. I actually still can't believe I've done it, and my Mrs has finally realised how grave this all is. It's gone mate.

No doubt there will be the usual platitudes in the programme from CEO, manager and captain about thanking the 300 who went to Bury, never say die, keep the faith etc, and how the team let the fans down. We get this every week now and these words are empty without actions to back them up. Might as well use run in to end of season to give the likes of Dan Jones, and Connor Smith a run in the team to get prepared for the Conference. They at least play with some heart and first team experience will be invaluable.

Our lass doesn't believe it either. When I see my club in it's present predicament it's like seeing a Ming vase in the hands of a chimpanzee.

Iv had enough, doubt il be at out next game whoever we play and I won't be getting a season ticket for first time in about 20 years if Green is still here next season.

Was watching Boro today and hoped they would lose as hope they are in Championship next season. It's a competitive league and I will probably go to the Riverside next season to get my 3.00pm Saturday fix. I won't be supporting them but it's football and I ain't giving Hodcroft anymore money.

So you won't be supporting your team in the Conference if it comes to that... but you'd watch the boro........? Now that is twisted

Now is not the time to jump ship. Now is the time to rid these losers from our club no matter what happens. Id rather go down fighting than give up whether we end up in the northern league or conference I will be there next year but I want this lot gone.

I'm not jumping ship...I have only one team so won't be scurrying off to anywhere else, I'll still go, but I have to admit to the feeling that time is running out.
I applaud your passion, what a pity it can't be transfused into the team and most importantly our anonymous owners.

maybe we all need to have a good long hard think about all of this. Should these clowns still be running OUR club next season (heaven forbid) then we need to do what Coventry done. Attend only away games and boycott the Vic. Granted it won't bring money into the club, but IOR are not putting out in, so why should we

Personally I'd rather watch matt paint dry than watch the fucking Borer. It was great to see super-Leeds, a true 'big club' turn them over today and complete the extraction of six points from the Premiership pretenders. I truly hope they fail miserably in their attempts to return to the Prem and that Aitor Karanka fucks off back to Spain or Portugal to further his career. As and when Pools are relegated that will be the end of 50 years of following Pools and 'live' football for me - sorry but I will not be bothering with Conference football.

I agree with the above I have officially given up hope of league survival this year. We are not picking up enough points especially away and results this weekend gone the worst way possible. I want to support my club that I have supported and watched for 15+ years but I can't waste my hard earned money watching the same garbage the club has churned out for some time now. Managers have come and gone but none have worked which leads me to believe that the clubs core is rotten and needs removing. That means hodcroft, green, IOR etc. I hope we find decent local owners who give Moore a reasonable bit of money to assemble his team in the conference in addition to allowing him to scatter the players he wants, I would only keep fenwick and harrison out of our first team the rest can leave our club.

We'll be playing in Confernce next year but anyone suggesting they'll go and watch the Boro instead wants setting on fire.

It would probably be more enjoyable than breathing the same air as you at the Vic you little parasite.

I reckon tonight has been a new low for the Bunker, that's the third time I've been on the end of shite like that. At least I can excuse the other two for being from people who are clearly touched.

Parasite?

Fuck me Tree, I am not even being serious with all of this Boro stuff it is intended humour.

Is it a surprise that IOR are so indifferent to fans? They will stay and take their deferred transfer fees from Baldwin and James, reducing the playing budget with every relegation, while we all snipe at each other through the frustration they create.

If you don't want to contribute towards their revenues, then fair enough, but let's all try and come up with an alternative, which as far as I'm aware currently has to be fan owned.

I'll do my bit to get rid of the actual parasites at this club (who are certainly not the fans) but we need to do it together.

But if the parasites want to keep 'earning' a wage from the club and they keep paying the bills then we are completely powerless really.

The owners have already shown they would go with the tmh saga. Give them an opportunity and they'll go. The club has very little value to them, or anyone else without the asset of a ground.

It has value to Russ Green though as it pays his wage and his sons, Hodcrofts wage also comes from the club. The 'owners' don't exist anymore no money comes from Norway these days.

What is narky about that post!?

All I'm saying is Green and Hodcroft have much more power than us. Which is a fact. Who am I being narky to here?

To be fair, you make a valid point. Green is out of a job if the club is sold (unless he can persuade new owners otherwise) and Hodcroft has to be paid by another of IOR's companies. None of which will be doing too well at the moment from north sea oil.

There seems to be a conflict of interests for the people who are apparently tasked with seeking new investment.

Season tickets are bought and paid for and Baldwin and James have been sold nothing can be achieved by staying away until the start of next season.
