The sooner he is back the better, adds composure at the back and helps the midfield from being over run. Never thought I'd be saying that mind!

Yet the game before we had a clean sheet. Defeats makes the mind think differently.

A good defendce has a good left back

Think you'll also find the same left back plAyed in both games.

The whole defence struggled yesterday, no-one comes out of it with credit. On Tuesday we ground it out and actually had a holding midfielder in featherstone to help us when Northampton finally decided to join the game

Stevenage were a lot better than I expected, especially given the injuries they had

The lad who scored twice was a right niggly player but looked good to me considering he's just starting out his career

Thought they were shocking myself.. How stevenage fans can watch that every week is unbelievable , Westleys teams are always like that the last 20 minutes was mind numbingly boring, fair play there tactics worked but the ref needed to he strong and he was a disgrace let them get away with everything

sctatchinghead

They tortured us how you can say they were shockng is beyond me they should have been 4-0 up at half time. If they were boring what were we we barely had a shot they could have scored 6 or 7. Probably the best performance I've seen at the Vic this season.

Duckworth isn't a great defender, which will limit how far he goes in the game. Going forward he is fantastic but defensively quite naive at times.

Amazing how things change because the last time I saw Bates play for us I couldn't see how he was earning a wage as a footballer.

He is bobbins. One of many wage thieves currently masquerading as players.

Bates has give the defence extra protection, as has Tsishbola, but that means we struggle to score from midfield, which is why at the moment we will never get a result away from home

Yesterday both woods and tshibola looked to get forward and got caught further up field when stevenage attacked.

Not necessarily their fault but having a midfield protector I guess allows them to worry less about being caught out. Fenwick fully fit gives us a chance to score goals but definitely think 4-3-3 which we played looks best given the options we have.
