Before the 'proposed takeover' I'm sure everyone will remember the anger towards IOR's stewardship with talk of protests hotting up on here.

The 'proposed takeover' has done nothing but act as a distraction to deflect negative attention from IOR.
Should the protests resume? I'd say so, alongside the setting up of a supporters trust. Keep IOR aware of the fans discontent and that if the takeover was a red herring it hasn't worked.

IOR are leaving in the summer and the transfer window is shut. I can hardly see what a protest would achieve.

The main gripe of the protests was for IOR to communicate what their intentions were, this is now clear.

Maybe any protest could be directed to Russ Green who doesn't have a shred of credibility left after this latest caper.

Best thing we could do now is get a fans trust up and running and get as much cash in the kitty for when IOR pull the plug.

Are they? How do you know that they are?

I'm not suggesting the aggressive protesting suggested on here but just keeping the pressure on Ken/Russ. Like I said the takeover could well have been simply to distract the fans when they were at their angriest. Look at this board now compared to before the 'proposed takeover'. We're no longer talking throwing tennis balls or going behind stands for periods of the game and such like. Stuff that would of gotten negative attention for the club and IOR.

The most important thing is progress is made with the fans attempted takeover.

Ken's "leaving" statement made no mention of the fans. That riled almost everyone, people won't forget that.

There's no point protesting, what are we going to protest about? The illiterates on that Facebook group?

Show some collective endeavour and sort the trust out, that's the best form of "protest".

You know what they say, 'the people united will never be defeated'... I'm going to get a banner made of that.

We need the towns journalists now to do something and at least ask whether the £15m debt has been reinstated.
