Good signing experience at the back is what we need

We are so weak against crosses into the box, so hopefully he can be the cure for that.

This is a good signing. He will add a lot to the team if he's fit enough.

Doubt there'll be anyone signing tonight after reading this.

I thought we might have a late chance of signing someone after just driving past the ground and the office was still open.

Decent player.

I think he'll go straight into the defence on saturday.

I like Jones but he was caught for both goals on saturday. Stood too far off Brunt for the first and not close enough for the header. Maybe more a experienced player alongside Harrison can help us win more games. Could use Jones at LB instead of Austin.

As Ronnie says also gives us option of 3-5-2

3-5-2 would probably be something Ronnie would like to look at as 'none of our fullbacks can defend'

Could see it working well

--------------Flinders--------------
---------Jones Harrison Mirfin--------
Duckworth -------------------Holden
-------------- Bates ---------------
------- Woods --------- Thisbola ---
---------Fenwick --- Morgan -------

Gives us a the option to play 6 at the back or 6 up front.

It was Austin who stood off for the first goal on Saturday

Please, not Holden. He's had enough chances.

Did you not notice the huge bandage Jones had on on Saturday... He usually wins everything in the air. He couldn't jump for the last goal, if we had another CB I doubt he would of been playing to be honest. I like the sound of this new CB, we need experience and I would be interested to see a new formation. With limited resources in impressed with big Ron!!
