....to not having to sign in? One needs to conserve energy in these hard times.

Besides, once you've signed, in the temptation is to post something instead of having a quick read and then going off to do something peaceful.

I enjoy reading some of the bizzare new names. Yellow Paw Print, Purple Headed Mountain etc etc God knows where they get them from.

Sorry Mr Grabec just posted the opposite view on another thread. I think it's a great idea.

I remember having to sing that quite a fair bit in junior school assembly. Presumably around Harvest Festival time.

'We plough the fields and scatter' is a very-difficult-to-sing-hymn because of the many low notes. Second only to 'Dear lord and father of mankind, forgive our foolish ways'. The latter being Ken's new anthem

I liked that Hymn which was basically the same line repeated over and over but got louder each time. No idea what it was like.

Are there still people that sing hymns?

I always thought this was something done by some folk before the invention of television and pop music.

No, it's just that Tree and I are having a spot of nostalgia. Not sure about that one with the repeated, getting-louder line, though. I think he's got hymns mixed up with football chants.

Sounds like the chorus of O Come All Ye Faithful.

I like the fact you have to log in, good to see when the club are having a look in.

Thought you were gong to ask if we could go back to the start of the season.

Wonder where we'd be if we started the season with Ronnie in charge and the current squad.

Oh well, if's and but's

Rubbish. There was that Sunday program with Jess Yates and Harry Secombe where they sang shedloads of God songs and made babies with Irish pop singers.
