Hi bunkerites, just joined the site although have been following it for years. Nothing really to add except have been following what's been going on behind the scenes at HUFC with interest and cannot begin to unravel what I think is happening. Happily on the field yesterday was better and gives a glimmer of hope. So I don't get thought of as a club spy, I am Allen originally from Cornwall where I live again now but spent my childhood in Peterlee. Haven't worked out what I did to deserve that punishment. But anyway, I have been following Pools since October 1965 first game 1-2 against Barnsley, Amby Fogarty sent off, Brian Clough et al and the rest is history so they say. I was always thought of as one of the pit yakkers from the collieries who followed Pools. Rio, Pauline Mcs and the West View boys who went to live in Peterlee could probably vouch for me. So really giving all you true Poolies a thank you for standing by the club and moral support from afar. To finish with please can I have the tradition bunker welcome or will not feel welcome. Pompey 1 Pools 2 who cares who scores.

Hi Allen originally from Cornwall and fuck off; this is also my 1st post!
I'm down in Penzance from Feb 15th so if give me the customary bunker invite/response praps we can meet up and il buy you a beer? Do you know Porthleven and Roland's chippy? Roland is an ex Gateshead lad and is a big HEED fan! He's real good patter and I left him a Pools calendar earlier in new year!
I thought we did well y/day a much improved team performance against a Plymouth outfit who had some quality about them ; I'm hoping Scotty Fenwick keeps developing he has some special qualities about him!
