As I remember you have been to Orlando a few times, I just got back on Saturday from there after previously going about 10 years ago.

There has been a lot of changes since I was last there but all at Universal. The added two harry potter bits at island of adventure and Universal (Diagon Alley and Hogsmede) are brilliant and you get the train between two parts. They also have done away with Back to Future and put Springfield there so you can go to Moe's Tavern etc. Basically Disney hasnt changed at all and looks dated and crap (well the Hollywood Studios and Epcot) looks like they are having to do it all up as no bugger is going and all to Universal.

Anyway the best rides I went on was
Universal; Transformers (was like spiderman but better) new rollercoaster called rock it which is better than the Hulk very good and the Harry Potter rides all blow anything Disney does out of water they effects are brilliant.
Sea World; New Manta rollercoaster like air at alton towers but about 100% better.
Disney; only two rides worth going on for me which was rocking roller coaster and tower of terror.

Best day was at discovery cove, went for gf birthday was brilliant swimming with dolphins and rays etc if you havent done it I am sure your daughter would love it. Also everything there is included with ticket so get all food and drinks all day.

Good holiday all in all and had 4 days in NY for cousins wedding as well

Universal have deffo overtaken the Disney Parks bud! Glad you enjoyed it. The Harry Potter stuff had just been completed the last time we were there and it was incredible.

That Manta thing at Seaworld eh? What a ride. Probably my fave.

Tower Of Terror still great too...the one at Disneyland Paris is actually better than Orlando (but thats the ONLY thing thats better!)

Back next year all being well!

How do you still do rides?! I used to love them as a kid but after not going on them for a few years even the ones at 'mingo land and Alton Towers leave me feeling rough.

Yeah had a great time Phil, they piss all over anything in UK just for setting the scene and detail of the place. The hogwarts express going in between two parks in UK would just have you looking out of window at the parks but they have a didgital window so it actually looks like your travelling through the Harry potter world. HP isnt my thing really but it was amazing.

I still love all rollercoasters like but had to go on a few on my own as other cant handle them. would say in order is that new rock it rollercoaster (you would like it you can choose what music you listen to when on the ride), Manta, Hulk, Kracken, then the dragon two in Harry potter and Mummy.

Also a big hats off to the staff, both parks gave my dad a pass for disabled entry so you just come back at a time (like a fast pass) so we never had to be in line for anything also having a young daughter we did the child swop thing so I could go on then our lass. I wouldnt have taken her at 8months tbh but was over in NY for family wedding and family decided to go to orlando for a few weeks to get out of cold in NY, therefore was a lot cheaper as probably couldnt afford it otherwise.

Have you been to discovery cove then?

Oh to add i heard from a Disney guy that they are doing up MGM, Epcot and Animal Kingdom I think in response to universal, doing a massive Frozen land thing at Epcot, a Cars thing at MGM and doing a whole new land in Animal kingdom like Pandora of that Avatar film

Did you go to Gator Land? Surprisingly my best day out in Orlando. One of them days where you were tired and chose something you weren't bothered about, BUT really enjoyed.

Are these places up to the standard of Crimdon? or even the Hartlepool Show?

Discovery Cove is an absolutely brilliant day, we went there on a Christmas Day, it was just a great chilled, relaxing day which made a change from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks

Are these places an improvement on the big European ones where you spend all day queuing and they search your bag to see if you are smuggling food and cameras in?
