...just watching his Inverness C.T. team winning 2-0 away at Hamilton, now sitting 3rd in the Scots Prem only a point behind 2nd placed Aberdeen. Now won 5 on the trot. Not surprised really that he's doing so well, always came across as down to earth guy while here.

The rot was set in long before that.

They paid him 600 bar a week until the end of the season just to see it out cheaply than discarded him and laughably tried to justify off the back of one game. He was treat appallingly, hung out to dry. A really poor episode in our history.

Mind, had he stayed I doubt he'd have flourished the way Pools is ran, what manager would? I really wish I could say was ran but unfortunately to me whoever is running the show it firmly seems like 'is' ran.

A poor episode amongst many. Cooper first time round. Even Newell. Wilson worked them out fairly sharpish and was on his bike.
