Cambridge did themselves proud and deserve the money spinning replay. Good luck to them

Yes a great performance indeed - the U's fully deserved a replay against the overrated Manure posers - a shame that the late clearing header from Jones didn't end up in his own net instead of going out for a corner. It shows what can be achieved by a fully motivated team prepared to throw their bodies on the line and give 150% to the cause. Anyone seen 11 players in around these parts put that much effort into a game? Thought not.

Sadly its more enjoyable watching pretty much any other side than it is watching our team these days.

Everyone jizzing themselves over Ryan Donaldson - his attitude would fit in well here. Never seen another loanee look as completely not arsed as him. He's never better than L2

Then again, the club has developed a habit of taking on or turning players into fucking cretins over the last few years.

If you read opinions of Micky Nelson from a few on here you'd have thought he was a shite centre back. He's one of the best who's played for us in the last 20 years. Christ how we could do with a player of his quality now. Mind you could say that about other message board villains such as Humphreys and Barron.

For what he cost, about 70 grand from Bury, he was one of our better ever signings.

To be fair to him he was a young lad on loan from Newcastle who might have thought he was a little bit better than he is but he's older and more mature now and playing well. At the other end of the country from where his friends and family are, we could do with a winger with that sort of attitude.

Given that he was monumental in our two play-off seasons under Cooper ie our most successful team ever, you could argue that he is the best central defender we've ever had.

Such a shame that he grew his hair and stopped playing so well when his agent turned his head.

If you ignore the transfer request to force a move to hull, and the shit last season when he admitted he was fussed... Yeah he was good

Even in that last season he probably gave one of the best performances I have ever seen by a Pools player at home to Stoke in the cup.

Big time, I'd dread to thinl we had players as 'bad' as those mentioned now. Being in the top six in League One is overrated.

Well, Mr I, we look forward to your bunker seminar on how to form opinions which are tainted by association with neither rose tinted specs, nor outrage buses. We're not too proud to learn from anyone.
