Playing Borough Hall 28th March, another decent act for the town after Frank Turner last year.

Any fan's of 'The Fall' on here......there's a fillum premiering about them being shown at The Cluny on Sunday 4.30pm (£2) in Newcastle. Apparently 13 years in the making by Danish 'Fall' fans. Followed by a fillum (Free) about Nick Cave.

Friday, not sure of cost like. It's on a Saturday night as well, Pools are also at home during the day so a decent day and night out.

I got 3 bang on 10am. The Vaccines have been sly bastards like, they emailed out saying there would be a fan pre-sale getting sent out but didn't send a link. A few of my mates have missed out because of it.

The gigs that the town have had in recent years have all been very popular and pretty much sell outs The View, Pigeon Detectives, Frank Turner and now The Vaccines. I hope we do start getting more frequent acts coming instead of just once a year.

I've just got tickets for the gig in Sunderland at Pop records 2 hours before the Hartlepool gig.

-Pools vs Cambridge on the day
-Train to Sunderland for Vaccines part 1
-Train back to Hartlepool
-Vaccines Part 2

Cracking day on Saturday, Pop recs is a canny little place. It's an independent record shop ran by Frankie and the Heartstrings and it looks like it could be closing. Vaccines and The Cribs both done gigs there on Saturday to help raise money. The Charlatans played about 2 weeks ago as well. Gig in Hartlepool was superb, not sure how it was a sell out as it didn't look full at all.

Agreed it was a crackin gig and i was surprised at how much room was left considering it was a sell out, could have had another couple hundred in easily, although not sure how the 4 lasses behind the bar would have coped

Good atmosphere and I like to think we all did the town proud and hopefully the band will let it be known the Pools is the place to play

Freddie Cowan was class with his posturing on stage, it looked like the band had a ball too

I was there on the opening day and it is lovely. The band are really nice and witty too. Got an interview with them in the shop in the next fortnight too I think
