Way too much to do we are as good as down, I just hope we have a team capable of winning matches by the end of the season and something to build on.

we will improve, we will have a team in place for next season to compete... but sadly it won't be in the League. We will come up short, just as we did with John Hughes 2 years ago
thanks very much Hodcroft

as it stands, we have to get ten more points to overtake Dagenham, with them getting none

there are 4 months of the season left

let's start getting people in for next season at least, even if we are now relegated already

I would be fuming if new owners just did nowt, surely they have to do something?

now have to get 13 more than them, so now they have been replaced by Northampton - who we need to get eleven more than.....

let's face it, it's over!!!!

I'm trying to come to terms with the fact 10 people think we can stay up. I'm failing.

I can see us picking up plenty of points in coming months but I can't help thinking we have too much to do

Can I have five points as to how this is going to happen please mate? I need some positivity and self-deception in my life right now.

No confidence. No fight. No points. No?

I never did believe in miracles
But I've a feeling it's time to try
I never did believe in the ways of magic
But I'm beginning to wonder why.

Not even a Fleetwood Mac sized portion of narcotics could get me feeling optimistic. We need a couple of wins in the next three matches to inspire some hope and I can't see that happening.

Not a snowball in hells chance of staying up, doesn't matter who comes in, 38 points from 22 games will not happen.

We just lost by a single goal, away to one of the best teams in the league, a defeat yes but one in which we came close to scoring on a number of occasions. The new lads will hopefully bring a new confidence to the rest of the squad. This tish lad might just be something special at our level, bet you a fiver we beat Cheltenham next Saturday ;)

We came close to scoring? We had 5 shots with 1 on target, not really threatening that is it?

Well, that's one way of looking at it. It's not the right way, but it's a way.

You're on. Permitted that the five quid that will be mine, you use to save up for some counselling.

Cheltenham jst had a good away win today

They will get an easy one next week, unless of course Pools do actually sign new players this week.

Purely from a business perspective, you cannot have a professional football team that is incapable of winning one single football match

You just can't

You have to spend money to stop that, even if the team is going to be relegated

unless of course you are Ken Hodcroft, and you are still lurking in the shadows in some capacity

Cheltenham are garbage and we wont get much of a better chance of a home win for the rest of the campaign, assuming the fans get behind the team, which is assuming a lot judging from the likes of your response today. :angry-tappingfoot:

Thought we'd be through the trapdoor last season and it now seems inevitable this time. Just can't see us making up the ground. The trouble is, there is still a part of me that thinks there is a glimmer of hope somehow, which will make the reality even more crushing when it actually happens...

If he signs 5 or 6 more then maybe there's a a glimmer

Left back
Striker
2 wingers
Centre back

Would be a bare minimal, wouldn't mind seeing jake kean come back aswell if he's not playing games for Blackburn

But they win occasionally, like today. Pools don't even do that. I have never been this depressed by football, to the point I am questioning tonight why I even care. Why should any of us care about Pools right now?

I put it to the owners at the club that they will lose virtually the entire fan base before the season end if they do nothing in this transfer window

That sort of comment ( Cheltenham are garbage ) just makes you look a fucking idiot to be fair.

How many times have you seen them lately ?

Cheltenham may be garbage, who knows, if they are it will be enough to beat us banghead

we need to get behind the team, stop having a go at individuals it only makes team even more nervous. a lot of people seem to have same mentality of pools team of 2014, well its 2015 new era new start lets believe and give our team belief. never say die.

I was like that until york beat us it took me that long to realise hope never beats fact.

This next week could well determine the long term future off our club.
Its make or break time for these owners to deliver or are they just a bunch of cranks!

keep the faith man, we are only 7 behind safety, nowt at all. If we play to that level for the remaider, we'll be fine without doubt.
We will struggle to get so much as a point at shrews but got everychance of beating both tranmere and especially plymouth...
