Woods was excellent, worked very well with Tshibola but Scott Harrison has my vote. Won everything, if there's one thing we can thank Colin Cooper for, it's bringing Harrison into Pools in the first place. Haway Ronnie, get him signed up permanently.

If the reason we haven't signed Harrison permanently was Moore not seeing Harrison play, then todays performance should be enough to persuade him.

Flinders 6

Duckworth 7
Austin 7
Harrison 9*
Jones 8

Franks 6
Woods 9
Tshibola 8
Compton 7

Bingham 7
Fenwick 7

Is what I'd go today.

Woods strolled it today too. Ronnie seems to like him. His best game.

I really thought Fenwick had a good game today too he could have possibly had a hatrick on a better day but he was in the right positions and getting the chances. So if he keeps that up I'm sure he can start to grab quite a few more goals for us.

Agree with most of the above, Harrison my man of the match.

Only one I'd change is Austin. Give him a 6.

I really like the bloke but his passing today was well off which it has been for a while. What he did to warrant a place in front of Holden though is he doesn't get bullied and can defend some/most of the time. There was a brief coming together just in front of me in the second half with Austin and their lad Ferdinand, Austin outmuscled him...Ferdinand said something to Austin and he just brushed past him and told him to fuck off or equivalent, left the lad looking a bit stupid. I think Holden can be a bit soft.

By far and away the best I've seen Woods play.

Tshibola played well too and Bingham was also very good.

Both forwards did exactly what they are paid to do. Can't drop either.

Flinders was lucky to get away with the cross he came for and missed (when he took a knock) but to be fair I think he redeemed himself when he punched clear a bit later, would've been easy for him to bottle it after being clattered earlier.

Oh yes, Compton! Fuck me, I saw him win 3 headers!! One of his better performances and looked reasonably comfortable in possession. The question is though, can he do it again next week? and then the week after?

The one thing that stood out for me with Franks was when we broke when 2-0 up and he made the wrong decision and the chance went - it was a really good opportunity. BUT I don't have the same level of hatred/dislike of Franks as most on here. I think, in this squad, he should still play in front of the others that are available for his position...which isn't many.

So fookin chuffed though, I'd almost forgotten how good it is to win :)

Woods was my MOTM today. Was everywhere, and did brilliantly for the second goal.

The cross from Compton for the first was perfect. I was sat right behind it in the Millhouse and he couldn't have put it in a better position.

Fenwick was very good today, held it up well, good goal, won a few tacles and headers and linked up well with others around him......and he isn't afraid to have a go.

Nice to walk away today feeling chipper and my son saw us win for the first time too.

agree totally, only austin and flinders were shaky. Compton stopped playing after 50 minutes but was good before then. Franks got into good positions but his final ball was and is always gash
