I wonder if Franks is playing up front in a 4-4-2 or if we go 4-5-1?

Moore likes his 4-4-2

flood the midfield. Problem is Featherstone hasn't got a tackle in him, Bates can at least sit in front of the back 4, hopefully this new lad from Reading can influence the game getting forward and get Franks and Compton to actually play a game of football for once.

A lot also resting on the shoulders of the lad up front

I thought Merson was pissed again when he said it was 1-0 and according to pools
Player we were on the attack. At least a 15 second delay.

Il stick to Sky.

Iv stopped mentioning Flinders for a while now as people got sick of it and I got sick of it myself but it's beyond a joke now. What exactly is Pears doing with him?

It does sound like a real howler from this 'bottom corner' description.

how can anyone defend him? he saves nothing. NOTHING. Zero.
He makes ALB and Budtz look like Banks and Shilton

Sorry I'm going from Merson saying it was his fault.

Not most reliable source.

in fact, anyone who said there were more important areas to look at, needs to get to the opticians themselves

Keeper is the most urgent position to attend to

I'm watching football Saturday, Merson didn't say it was his fault he said it was poor defending.

He said Flinders guessed on him going across goal and got beaten at his near post!

Commentary said Harrison lost his man after Featherstone sold him a short pass back.

We've just missed a sitter according to Merson and Stelling said we've started the second half brightly but they missed a one on one.

I like Ronnie Moore and I think he will see pools right but unfortunately Its happened far too late, looks like we are headed for the conference lads. Our goal difference will sting us in the end even if we do manage to scrape a few wins.
