I see both him and the Reading midfielder were born in Newham and same age. Maybe know each other?

Thought to have Prem League potential a couple of years ago. Obviously things gone wrong since. At Mansfield, fans say he is still a good prospect but has lost his confidence. Lets hope he gets off to a flyer for us

Similar height and build to Danny Welbeck, sounds like a similar style of player too.

Yes sir. Definitely got pace. Though, to get rid of Schmeltz and replace him for Bingham is a bit like for like from what I saw.

Look forward to seeing him and the new lads though, good injection of pace overall.

From twitter it seems that they do know each other. Might help them settle in.

Darrell Clarke wasn't too bad either!

I think that's a given now Ronnie Moore's handpicking his signings rather than managers dishing out contracts to his mates or scraping the bottom of the non league for players.

He is Mansfields top scorer.. Why are they loaning him to a rival club? Is this one that will become permanent if he impresses? Or maybe just on loan so he can play Saturday and then join full time shortly after?

It does seem a little strange but they have that big lump Rhead or whatever he is called and maybe doesn't feel they both can be played together?

Either that or we made a decent offer to loan him? Can't imagine that would include the recall clause like.

Maybe the loan part is to get him in for tomorrows game and he's going to sign permanently imminently? Have I missed something about this recall clause, not saying it doesn't exist but I've not seen it in official statements and it wouldn't usually be made public.

It is on the Mansfield website.

I can't link YouTube videos properly using my phone but there is a video about him on YouTube for Mansfield against Exeter. He looks a handful for defenders.

Just watched it, clapped off by a lot of Exeter fans too.

Looks very quick and reminded me of James in a way-getting on end of long balls and being a nuisance.
