I was looking forward to chipping in a bit on here after finally getting to see a game yesterday, but the less said about that the better.

Anyway, going to drown my sorrows with a curry tonight...can anyone recommend a decent one in the town that delivers?

I did enjoy the Bovril yesterday though.

The Shailmar, Billingham 01642-535903, been going since it opened in 1983, best one on the planet, try every new one that opens in Hartlepool and always end up back at the Shailmar.

The dilshad gets my vote also. But me and my mate went to the new one called Mumbai at the grand hotel and it was brilliant. A bit more expensive but worth it.

Tried Shearas once, it was that bad I actually made them come and pick it back up and got a refund. Nuff said!

Absolutely lush the tikka kebab on naans from there. I've just ordered a mince and tandoori chicken pizza from there, see how it tastes.

Saffron express. Tried many Indians in the town and elsewhere and nowhere beats this place.

Pizza was really nice. Tandoori express is shite if anybody considers them.

Best one I've ever been to anywhere in this country is Mumbai. We eat loads of Indian food and there's nothing anywhere near as good in the town. Been 5 or 6 times now and the food is second to none.
