Anyone who doesn't appreiciate what Harewood gives up front needs to look at the game today - if their was a worse strike force on show in the football league today Id like to see it. Moore had to realise he couldn't play Ironside and Fenwick together should have played 4-3-3 with franks and schmeltz alongside one of them.

Either way Harewoods strike rate for a former premier league striker in league 2 is abysmal.

Agreed on strikerate but poses a threat. All the possession and how many shots on target today. Also I don't have his stats on assists but he has a fair few this season I'm sure.

We hardly have much creativity though do we?

Harewood ain't great but he is the best of a bad bunch.

Being a striker in the current team is a very challenging role to play. Given the level of service that they receive from the rest of the team, even the most clinical finisher would struggle to register. And we don't have clinical finishers.

Spot on about Holden, he isn't the best and ran the ball out of play and misplaced a couple of passes but he never hid and was always available for the ball, also came inside and won a couple of headers the centre backs were stood ball watching. Franks blasted Holden once for a misplaced pass but was actually stood still behind a defender and Holden had told him where he was gonna put it. There's no shape to the team, no communication, no spirit and no leadership. Those are the basics for a football team along with giving a fuck which doesn't look too promising either.

As much as it was my dream to play for pools I don't think I'd take the opportunity right now because its not worth it. There was people shouting abuse at Holden after 25 seconds. I agree that he isn't the best but he is a trier and keeps showing for the ball; neither goal was his fault so as a defender all else he does is a bonus because he did personally did his job defensively so shouldn't be another source of criticism. I also agree about Harewood; people saying him getting sent off is the best thing that could of happened are idiots in my opinion. He's 35, he's never going to be a marathon runner but if we play the ball into his chest or feet he can hold the ball up and he can win headers but there tends not to be any runners. I think you can already see some development in Ironside as he's beginning to work the channels and make sure he gets his body in the way to hold the ball up well for his slender frame. Fenwick on the other hand was very disappointing today; it was his chance to get himself a run in the team but he was totally anonymous; I don't know where the Fenwick was who started against York and although wasn't technically great covered every blade of grass working for the team and putting himself about. If you can pick a best starting 11 of players who are currently at the club in the first team fold and who you honestly think should still be at the club or are good enough I'll honestly be amazed because for me we could do with about 6 new players ready to start, those they replace on the bench and those who can't get into the current team may aswell be shipped out or loaned if there a young lad to develop.

We're never going to have leadership when our goalkeeper is captain. This needs to be the first change, being Tommy Miller back in when for and give him the armband. Even Harrison now he's signed.
