Bonjour, I am glad you asked me that the answer is absolute hell! I support Torquay and this is our second spell. OK, at first it was a bit of a laugh away games at Hogwarts, Narnia, and Rivendell, and we had a new board who financed some great players who got us back into L2 via the play offs in our second season. The climax of our first season was the Wembley final of the micky mouse cup. That was the good bits, the bad bits were:

Tuesday night winter home games where only 18 away supporters attended
Crap Officials
A crazy fixture list where you sometimes play the same team twice within a couple of weeks.
No TV coverage
Crap away grounds
Very little atmosphere
Poor sponsorship deals
No league handouts ( worth around 500I per season )
Etc.etc.etc.

I think we can guess most of that, but what we really want to know is what it's like in the leagues below the Conference North. Sadly

what's it like in conference north? well, if you havn't got a dog, buy one now at least you will have 18 months to train it when the 1 man and his dog is the attendance. my wife is from stockport originally. seen them twice at home on family visits with the father in law and believe me it's very grim. mind you we are preparing for it. we did sign nicky featherstone from harrogate town who play in the conference north, so we do now have experienced players if we go that low.

Well don't worry too much there is a long way to go still, and a couple of decent loan players could well get you out of trouble. Last season at this time we were so far up sh ~t creek that the bow of our boat was poking out of someones WC.
