Loads of em as a kid:

Gluesniffing. Not very glamorous now is it? Was it ever?

Heavy breathing. I suppose the Telephone Preference Service must have put a stop to it. There seemed to be loads of sketches on comedy shows about it in the early 80's.

Devil dogs. Apart from the unfortunate child death in Leicester a year or two ago, most canines seem to be quite well behaved these days.

Any more?

Thinking about it, Britain must have closed its doors to asylum seekers now, as the subject is never in the news these days.

Luckily there is a themepark where one can take a trip down memory lane and revisit these wonderful things!

Meet some of the locals.....

There was one in St. Helens at New Year - 5 year old staying at Gran's, savaged to death by her Uncle's Pit Bull that of course he shouldn't have had.... very sad. I suspect that the fact that the likes of Pit Bulls are officially banned has something to do with the reduction in cases though...
