Having giving it a lot of thought I have decided I am going..... Reasons!

1. I will only end up listening to it on the radio anyway.
2. I want to show my support to the team and big Sam.
3. Its sods law if I didn,t go that I miss a humdinger of a game and will kick myself for not going.

I will not be spending any money in the ground so I suppose It is a little bit of a protest, we will just have to wait and see if we end up with a new manager and if IOR support him with some funding to bring in some better players. We aren,t doomed yet, football is a funny old game someone once said so lets just see what happens in the next few weeks. Keep the faith !!! :confusion-waiting:

No doubt it'll get to 7pm and I'll feel bad about not going.

Your choice to attend and as above, I hope it's a cracking match.

I'm going - surprisingly confident as well, even had a bet on us winning (more brackets - that's us doomed then!)

I've decided not to go. It's the only time I can show my unhappiness and it make a difference (regardless of how small) because I have a season ticket.

I had planned to take a couple of hours off work, meet my lad from school and dash up....I'd even thought about that cheap hospitality thing....I'll really miss going and have itchy feet now typing this but needs must.

Somebody on facebook trying to get 200 people to put 2k each in and buy the club, christ on a bike, imagine 200 people agreeing on a way forward from this place, diehards who don`t go banghead , protesters who don`t protest, banghead and the elite who look down on us 10 minute supporters who used to go to old Trafford

I would suggest running a bath may be difficult with those ingredients :hand:

By the way Mr Butt, I think it is a very good thing that you have converted to Pools and it would be great if more Premier League devotees did the same. Nevertheless, the cost of your dalliance with the puce faced gum chewing bastard and his minions is a permanent loss of any right to mount the football high horse called loyalty.

I think 10 years counts as loyalty wouldn`t you thunk?
Being with one person or thing without straying counts as loyalty in many walks of life, if you change sex from male to female suddenly make you a bad driver, bad tempered, irrational and moody or is there a chance you retain a level head, so many questions!

I don`t look at results from Manchester, watch match of the day or have a tattoo that needs removing, but what I do have is tenacity, somewhat lacking around here like, although I believe PJ has a Tenacious D album in his shed!!

Just to put into context what you are saying, you actually believe you are showing a level of 'tenacity' by attending a football match, seriously? Honestly? Do want a fucking medal? If you class that as you showing tenacity I'd imagine you see crossing the road as an act of gallantry or having a shite as a genuine achievement.

I'd rather be at the match tonight, actually I tell a lie I'm having a far better time watching 'In the Night Garden' with the little one but I would be there normally but I'm making a stand. It's a small gesture that says I'm not happy. I'm not asking anyone to join in it will probably go unnoticed and I'm certainly not having a pop at anyone attending but I don't feel like giving Pools £10 tonight the way things are right now. My choice, as it is your choice to drag your big tenacious arse to the Vic. Good for you.

As for the Manchester United thing it might be seen as a cheap shot by you but when you're acting the big one just because you are attending a game do you seriously think it's not going to be mentioned!? It's something unfathomable to most football supporters changing allegiance. But you go to Pools now and are a Poolie as much as any of us, fair play.

Enjoy the match tonight, which coincidentally clashes with the pride of Britian Awards. I hope your tenacity gets a mention from a tearful member of the TOWIE cast.

Since we got the Virgin Tivo thing it's Shaun the Sheep over and over again in our house.

Sometimes the bairns will watch it with me too.

the little un is bang into his Transformers at the moment

They've been a brilliant "help" in getting him back on his feet actually, by him pretending to "transform" from the floor into standing up and walking again!!

Ba ba ba ba beep!! well that's the noise he makes during "transformation" every time he does it!!

He'll start nursery soon hopefully

I'm bored with Chuggington now, it's too predictable with only one plot - one of them gets carried away and gets lots/breaks something/is late, then does the right thing, learns their lesson and it ends.

Mike the Knight is half decent like, but it does reinforce class differences. Poor Trollie has no chance of ever amounting to anything other than a Rooney lookalike, even though he has humility, strength and talent.

Meanwhile, the feckless Mike gets to do what he likes, on a horse with his dragon servants, and rich parents. I only let my kids watch it if they sit through a documentary about Marx and Engels straight afterwards to give them some perspective.

there's a truly horrific princess programme on the Disney channel which the bairn sat and watched for a while, but I forbid it to be on screen now if I'm in the house... the woman of the house now backs down when I assert my authority and start begging her to turn it over... err I mean tell her to turn it over immediately... it is truly horrendous for the reasons you stated, but with the roles reversed in that this princess has all of these pure values and instills them into everyone else... and rich and poor skip along together in the palace gardens at the end... yeah righto!!!

Chuggington is by far the bairns favourite theme tune like he properly dances like mad. Chuggington-chugger chugger- chugging... aw fuck it's in my head now banghead banghead banghead

In the Night Garden is properly off it's tits, mental stuff like all good kids TV shows should be. Har hoos? Ninky Nonk? Pinky Ponk? Tittyfurs? Put away the drugs and make some adult telly.

there's an unsubstantiated theory about what the Night Garden is a representation of... but I won't say in case it's bollocks
