Good to read, hopefully more like this comes out and puts a bit of pressure on Hodcroft and IOR.

Who cares what Keith Curle thinks? And what does he know about how our club is run.

If you read it he has spoken to Cooper who has given a lack of support off the field as the reason he's resigned.

I'd also suggest he probably knows better than any of us do since he can actually speak to someone inside the club!

Err..because he spoke to the outgoing Manager? You know, I'd fucking LOVE it if Cooper blew the lid on the whole shooting match..I wonder if he's got the balls?

That's what I'm hoping, this is hopefully just the beginning.

Not sure how true but apparently Coppers wife let her feelings known in the CK Stand at the end of the game, stating you don't know half what has gone on.

I said the same thing just now. It would be bloody brilliant.

The interesting thing is they've probably had confidentiality clauses in place with managers they've sacked and pay offs have been involved. Cooper has walked though.....

Ffs Willis it's pretty bloody obvious coops wasn't backed off the field. His 2 best players sold at the last minute and the money not given to reinvest, a tiny playing budget of a few hundred quid a week per player and the reliance on loans from his mates at boro.

He's been sold up the river big time. I just wish he'd quit in August when James was sold when his reputation was stronger

I'd love to see Cooper blow the lid on what is going on, like the guy or not he has never slagged the team off and has been professional throughout. As he has walked the club or IOR owe him nought so a frank interview about why he has walked would make a refreshing change.

Everyone with half a brain knows why so no point really. KH blaming the council says it all hiding behind FFP and being self sufficent when we all know others do it. Basically in a round about way he is blaming us as fans and town for not supporting the team. However if you serve up a shit sandwich people arnt going to pay over the odds to eat it.

I remember having a discussion about this in the summer (and I think you were part of it - I can't be arsed to trawl through the posts) and said exactly this; Cooper was probably told he could make signings, yet when push came to shove...

skysports football league review was pretty damning of the club.

Peter Beagrie wasnt shy in saying all is not well behind the scenes and that promises had not been kept.

So that's Curle and Beagrie who have backed up the obvious claims that IOR are not allowing Cooper to do his job.

When was the last time the club DID support one of our managers?

Come on Colin Cooper, do yourself and all of us a favour and blow the lid on the club, I'm sure you'd have the backing of most people in the footballing world.

strange that when any of us discloses the truth, nobody believes the fans!!

5th columnists always want proof... and even if you provided it they would still question its validity

Everybody knows the game is up now for IOR, they have been exposed for what they are

I await the chairman's reply to Councillor Richardson's statement with interest, as do the rest of us

but so far as KH is concerned,I bet we'll hear NOTHING now for 6 months at least, in the hope everybody forgets what the councillor said

I'm bringing my favourite hammers and wrecking bar

Just been listening on Tees and they have just had a discussion on IOR not backing Cooper and alienating the fans in much the same way as Mike Ashley, they called on him to come out and face the fans rather than hiding behind his programme notes.
