4 strikers bubbling in the background and I've never been off me phone all week!

Caught that on BBC Tees earlier. His patter is cringeworthy and I actually turned it off!

Out your depth & weak as piss Cooper blew your budget you apparently said you could work with on mediocre ex pals of yours.

Tomorrow's protests should not just be vented at IOR his record is fucking embarrassing.

FUCK THEM!

'Blew his budget'

What budget!? Not really wishing to defend his management because since about January it's left a lot to be desired but he's got litterally hundreds of pounds a week to offer players within this so called 'budget' which pretty much leaves you with lads on a last chance from non league and journeymen. It's back to what it was like in the bad old days. Parnaby is looking an awful signing but he's not on big money, nobody is on as much as two of the players we released in the summer.

Yes.......this^ I did turn it off.......

FYI PJ.... I do know he got what you may call a respectable budget, & I also know it has been challenged recently with ref to return for outlay, don't kid yourself thinking you know he only had hundreds to waste.

Per player we did.

Non of the new signings earn four figures a week. Someone who is a former player who played against us as recently as last week (Sherlock Holmes types may be able to work out who this this is) has described the wages Pools are currently paying compared to what he's getting down South for giving away penalties and generally fucking up (I will NOT name him) as 'slave labour'

Regardless of whether you think he had enough in his budget , he had a budget or did Bates Parnaby Miller sign for nothing and say they'd play for free, then add the new contracts added to players , like Walker Jones Austin etc.

Now if it thousands of pounds or millions he had a budget and he has wasted it with some signings.

As I keep saying why didn't he release some of the kids who aren't getting near to the first team and look to bring in players released from championship/league 1 clubs on the same wages.

If they were/are good enough why do we currently have 5 players (Wyke Brobbel Harrison Atkinson Woodman) on f****** loan

I don't think Bates or Miller are bad signings for what they are on. Tommy Miller has actually been one of our better players so far, Bates might get better as the season goes on.

Hopefully the rumours about Parnaby being scattered are true.

Again I'm not saying the bloke is doing a good job, but we can only attract two types of players offering the money we are, lads desperate for a crack at League football or lads who are past it and don't have many options for a job elsewhere.

We always retain a few kids because they cost next to nothing and they pad out the squad.

I haven't said they are good or bad PJ. What I've said is they were brought in on a budget.

Lad desperate for a crack at league football, ....I totally agree, obviously the ones we kept on (or some of them) aren't in the managers opinion good enough to play league football, at this moment in time. If they are why aren't they in the match day squad.

Tomorrows squad will probably consist of 5 loan players, yes 5.Jones/Nearney given contract...Harrison brought in on loan Why ??

Smith/Hawkins/Rowbotham given contracts.... Brobbel and Atkinson brought in once more I ask Why ??

If they given contracts then surely they should be pushing for first team start/place

Some those kids been about while now and not got in. All I'm saying is maybe there were players who could have been got on the same wage who'd been released from higher division clubs but could do a job in division 4

Because with the budget we have we can't afford 20 odd senior pros like we've had before and still need to turn our a reserve team out. Three of those kids probably count for one wage.

Of the 5 loanees, 3 will certainly start tomorrow and 4 might so I'd say they are pretty important right now to try and keep us competitive at this level.

Hawkins...Rowbotham... could been RELEASED 2 players of same age brought in on same fKing wage.We can still put out a reserve team. They've been about a bit now and not got into the first team on regular basis so get shot and look for others.

What do you find difficult to understand.

I'm not on about signing Messi/Ronaldo just players who could push for the first team and as you put it keep us competitive, but be our own players. Why can't the 3 or 4 loan players you reckon will start tomorrow be our own.

Harrison...replaced with Nearney or Jones
Brobbel replaced with Green
Wyke replaced with Smith

Now if your going to say they not good enough. I will ask once more why did we give them contracts.

Because of the 5 or 6 you retain paying next nothing for 1 or 2 might end up being good enough and make the club some money, or in a crisis, play right back.

I agree but why couldn't the 5 or 6 we sign up for next to nothing be NEW. You've not explained that. A new 18-20 year old who could push to start in the first team may well make us some money down the line.

Do you honestly believe some of the players we have and I'm on about the young ones (not in team /squad) are going to do that. They can't even make the team/squad of a team that sits in bottom 2 and have struggled for a couple of seasons.

We could change our youngsters and pay the same to other youngsters.

But we going to disagree maybe discuss it over pint after our resounding victory tomorrow in the Mill.

Just what I get told from various people, it could be way off but it sounds about right to me.

MadJohn that odious bellend (who we will not name) claims to be on £3,000 a week at the Southern, green wearing club we played as recently as last week who I will not name.

Well he' s getting overpaid by 2900 quid a week then, the big one eyed pudding, responsible personally for lots of goals conceded when he played for his home town team

Of course he's going to say he's on 3 grand a week, he's an arrogant tit. I reckon a third of that at a push. Plymouth were on their arse very recently, there's no way they'd be paying that to anyone, not least someone as shit as him!

I never said they should be released, what I said was players that had been around the place a while and not even got close to the first team on a regular basis should possibly be released.i said if keeping any why I they constantly being overlooked for loan players

On the other hand, he's pretty knowledgeable about black holes. Could track down the Luke James transfer money on no time.

Bob, I'm sure this will release the usual torrent of scorn, but a certain proportion of the clubs turnover has to be spent on youth development under the FFP rules.

Considering Luke James was 'worth' several million and Brad Walker is an' all, we're doing pretty well on youth development.

Two seasons

Cheers mj. hignett may have helped him along but I can't see how we can heap praise our youth development process for a player who was only with us two years. How many recent players have the club nurtured from being bairns into the first team?

If you cant see that expenditure across the board at the club has been absolutely slashed then its a complete and utter waste of time discussing further. Even Russ Green said as much in his last public statement.

This season

I personally watched the barriers/metalwork in front of stands getting done and saw the inside being cleared of weeds etc. FACT. Now the expenditure may have been cut but some stuff still getting done. Outside I know not being given as much attention but surely that could be classed as council responsibility being pedantic.

You asked a question which was when was last time ground got facelift, I answered this close season.

So your proved wrong on that and now change to doing the minimum. Your first point about it not being done is proved incorrect so you change it to something else.

Anyone can change things to suit, your doing that. Now you refuse to discuss things further.

I actually said , and not in your words that the ground was having the minimum done on it (saying council responsibility) so your agreeing with me and there is no need to discuss it further for that reason only. So you therefore agree the ground was given a facelift but not to the standard of previous years. Thankyou for agreeing with me.

Mutters I've agreed with that and even said being pedantic it's the councils responsibility. The question was when did the ground have a facelift, my answer of this close season was fact, I agree more could have been done. But the ground had a facelift , whether that as good as some want it is another debate.

It's probably part of the terms of lease .. Let's face it they get the place for a pittance in the first place. All those thinking were not heading for the conference better wake up.. Wonder what price the tickets will be then... £25 a seat is to steep for non league.... Where's the ostrich when u need it.

Is there a need for a ticket office to be open during the week?

How many tickets do they sell?

The job in the ticket office was advertised on Pools website (reduced hours). Not sure about the job centre.

They have had it open for the last 15 year, now they are shutting it half the week to save £100. Taken on its own it means fuck all, look at the bigger picture and its symptomatic of the way things have been going.

The Norwegian was lending the club a million a season. Its possible he could write the lot off when things go tits up. As it stands there is clearly the square root of fuck all being invested by the owners. At the end of the day if you buy a football club you do so in the expectation you will lose a lot of money.

You seriously think its a coincidence Larsens financial investigation started at pretty much the same time IOR stopped investing in the playing squad and holding an AGM.

Cutting their cloth CF, most businesses are doing it, even those that are trading well, for Pools it will help them continue, (little acorns) to be honest I don't even see the need for a ticket office expect on match days and exceptional games. Footfall for tickets must be low due to the pricing for non ST holders. I'd just sell them at reception.

It's an age thing with me and other stuff to do. Since the kids were born 15 year back football ceased to be number 1 priority.

Shite product or not, it happens out there in the real world, as a club Pools is not the only business doing it.

Need a forward minded coach mate, said it for years

The owners, whoever they are, have zero ambition nowadays. In fact they cant even be arsed to pretend to care anymore.

They sold the 2 players worth watching, and passed on the chance to use the proceeds to sign the likes of Dolan and Burgess. They have said to the manager find us 8 or 9 players willing to play for £700 a week, doesn't really matter what position they play, and we will make the numbers up with freebies on loan from the Boro or Sunderland and our own kids.

2 points from the last 4 games, one goal scored, firmly entrenched in the relegation dogfight, fans talking about boycotting a JPT game, and what sort of leadership do we get ? Apparently the CEO and the Chairman couldn't be boshed to write articles for the programme or speak to the press.

The way its going we could slip out of the Football League without putting up any sort of fight.

We have become a selling club. walker next. Smith should be played soon for he will be the next saviour. I can live with this if there's a steady production line of youth coming through ( Crewe a prime example of this and they still done very little). For me the fucked stage is between round one and two of the FAC, league has settled then and the shite is clearly visible, it doesn't bode well at the moment, but a couple of wins could soon see that change, saying that though current position isn't the best!

Unusual for Russ not to do an article, not Ken.

Williams and Barmby were the investment that perhaps we need to see earlier this season ...

A few things I heard yesterday.

Hodcroft was telling people that some money is available to strengthen the squad and that in his opinion we desperate for a striker.

Other stuff I heard, the current situation is as suspected all linked to Berge Larsen but he still wants to be involved in the club once his other issues are sorted. As things stand Hodcroft is as frustrated and pissed off as anyone as right now, no money at all is coming from IOR the club is effectively standing on it's own two feet. Even Hodcroft's wage is coming out of the club compared to the past when IOR paid the non playing staff.

Hopefully though this situation is temporary.

But this begs the question for me, why doesn't Hodcroft just say some of this? Let people know he is also frustrated and this is his it has be in the short term? The worst the thing is the total lack of communication. People can choose to believe this or not but I'm only posting stuff I've heard. Time will tell if it's true.

The Norweigans are all over (including Berge Larsen) for a home game next month, that would be a good game to let feelings known.

Hopefully the situation is temporary and KH deserves a little bit of time to turn things round in my opinion. I appreciate that this opinion isn't shared by many on here but it's my genuine opinion and is shared by a few.

The reason the above details aren't openly discussed is partly ego and secondly it reflects badly on IOR if he admits that they don't have money to chuck about.
