Then we will go into joint 2nd place for longest unbeaten run in a season (within the profesional game) only behind Arsenal (38 in 2003/04) and sharing with Burnley(30 in old division 1 1920/21 season). Not a bad position to be in.

Think if we going to be honest though cant see us beating the longest unbeaten record (non league) included which is held by AFC Wimbledon at 78 games 69 wins 9 draws, mind you if we get to end of this season and do an Arsenal next, means only need to remain unbeaten in the Championship for 3 games in the 08/09 season and the record is ours.O how we can dream.

In 2003/04 season AFC Wimbledon won their first 21 league games (making 32 succesive wins over 2 seasons) during that season they had 42 wins 4 draws goal difference of plus 148.Makes our run seem pretty average

bit of a difference, in the quality of the opposition.
Even the loids would do well about five tiers down in the league

IF we stay unbeaten till the end of the season I will be walking along to Betfred clutching a betting slip that says £40 on Pools to finish the season unbeaten @ 33/1!

Something is bound to go wrong before the end of the season surely Mutley? I can't see us losing a home game. I did think Wycombe would be our hardest game but now i think it could be Rochdale . . .

Teams on winning streaks tend to lose a few when the pressure is taken off.

Something like that. I think we just got bored with winning all the time, as you will, eventually.

I think Reading went 33 unbeaten last season. We must hold the record for this division now?
