Had to be along from Seaton station every Sunday afternoon at 2.15pm.
Always a streak!

Could never understand trainspotters or train set builders. Surely football, Subbuteo and scouring the park and Burn Valley for discarded porn were healthier options?

Subbuteo...

I spent ages trying to get an astroturf pitch fof my lads one Xmas. I eventually succeeded and took it home in its tube and give it to wife to giftwrap.
Come the big day, I looked at the pile of presents but couldn't see it anywhere...I asked her where it was .... she smiled smugly and pointed to a gift wrapped square that looked like a bulky Xmas card and proudly explained she'd used the last of her expensive paper to wrap it in...apparently it was a tight fit but she squeezed it and folded it and got it in.
She couldn't see the problem, but is there anything more useless than a creased astroturf Subbuteo pitch.......?

Too true Mr Snowy. In my youth I had an Astro pitch. The problem was, when you fancied a game of Subbuteo on it, you had to take it out of the tube the day before and lie it flat with a few heavy books on top so it would eventually become flat.
