I'm trying to find the best new music artists and in a general music chit chatty manner I feel as though this topic will give off new recommendations.

Recently on my radar are stuff like Sleaford Mods, Technicolour Poets, Swell, Alice Boman, Eastlink, Shamir, Big Deal, All We Are, Kins,Bob Moses and Table Scraps.

Broken Ritz, The Saggy Old Cloth Cats, and Hatstand are my current faves.

Are "All of the good band names are taken" any good?

Not a new artist but there is a new album from The Bug soon. I reckon he is a bit of a genius.

I really like what I've heard of those Glasweigan Snakehead chaps. Aggressive little fellas but I reckon By Toutatis could chin them.

Sort of, full name is The Amazing Snakeheads and they're from Glasgow.

Good song called Where Is My Knife?

They're on the same night as you - watch your back!

Very jealous, bet he'll be excellent. I've heard about half of the new album and it swings from beautiful, dubby stuff with light vocals to some of the scariest post-dancehall noise I've ever heard. Massive bass throughout.
