We're you there Bob?

Going by twitter updates, Franks was involved with everything when he came on, had a cracking second half at Billingham too

Only Harewood and Bort played full game. No sign of Collins on pitch again?

Franks has made a cracking start to pre-season. Donny only beat them 2-0 during the week, so in that respect decent result. Who said I was negative?

Is that surprising when Cooper signed another centre back, has a trialist centre back in and gave a youth team centre back a contract? sctatchinghead

I think the form Collins showed towards the end of last definitely proved he can still hack it at this level (and look class) having him match fit should be a no brainer incase we get injuries

Yes it is surprising. Players need game time and the 'another centre back' you mention is the only recognised experienced centre back we have apart from Collins. Players need game time and I find it strange with how many changes we have made that Collins hasn't featured.

May just have a knock.

It's that picture in the pink shirt, he's hiding in the kit room crying and sucking his thumb.

As much as Collins form towards the end of last season was much improved, he was still the centre back of a team that nearly went out of the league. A team going places needs to have 5 capable players on the bench, Collins would be one of them

franks has been good both games and may be a player that comes really good this season.

Collins is being shown to be more of a coach if that makes sense. He's being seen more in the coach strip/clothing than a players. I could be wrong but that's how it looked to me so far. More a "last resort" player now and I don't mean that disrespectfully. But the coaching strip/clothing seems to be a way of distancing himself from being a player and showing that he now part of management.

Yeah I get same impression bob, probably means we need two centre backs tho. Bort and loan signing maybe.
