Are in the Lakes

http://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/news/ ... 62894.aspx

Have Kieran Green and Connor Smith who both played last night been given contracts or are they already first /second year pro's, or are they in line to become fast tracked and become the next Luke James/ Brad Walker

Or maybe Cooper liked the look of them in training and wanted to see how they would perform with the first team

He took them both to Spain so doubt he would bring them back and send them straight to the Lakes.

When I made original post I was unaware they'd travel to the training camp in Spain.

Must be at least considering offering them a contract if he has kept them with the first team

It looks like we're committed to bringing the youth in, so why not? We've done it succesfully with James, Walker, Holden, Rutherford and others to a certain extent.

Cooper is an ex Academy coach and seems to want to blend youth with experience. It just might work.

As long as we don't end up like we were last season then I will be happy about it

It didn't expire. In their last friendly, Williams
Got two and Burgess also scored.
