It's getting a bit depressing seeing other clubs so active in the transfer market! A fair chunk of pre season gone now and our squad is cheap bog roll thin and still we see no movement. Realistically we need 4 to 5 New players and all the good ones are gonna get snapped up if Cooper doesn't get a move on! I don't know how the club expect to attract floating fans to buy season tickets if the squad doesn't get impoved. Think I'm just getting depressed as every time I check the net at work I hope to see pools have signed a player only to be left disappointed!

To be fair we've signed Bates and Parnaby and Cooper might well have some good players, Burgess for example, lined up for loans. If he pulls that off, keeps Walker and James and gets the best out of Harewood I think we'll be heading in the right direction. Last thing we need is another marquee signing aimed at getting season ticket money out of people who remember them when they were good/mobile/motivated.

Anyway, you can't go wrong with a good store of wing backs.

Burgess maybe a possibility, Boro signed that Omeuro on loan from Chelsea, so that may drop him down their pecking order.

Could be worse like, Exeter done nothing yet...

My main concern is on the wings, franks and Compton are both very inconsistent and for me a better option coming off the bench! I'm very happy with the two we have brought in but obviously we still need more. They can't use the financial fair play as an excuse now as our squad is about ten players short from this time last year and that included some of our high earners! I just a bit of excitement!!!

I think we will see cooper sign one or two more and then expose the loan market. I wouldn't be surprised to see a season long loan for centre half (Burgess or Harrison from Sunderland).

As thin as that tracing paper type bog roll which comes in separate sheets and takes ten in a handful for one wipe! I only wish we were andrex!

You're being very unfair. We're not the sort of club that gets shit on its own fingers. We're a decent supermarket own brand - two ply and reasonably soft but not luxurious.

I didn't see us playing with wingers very often last season, hardly at all in fact. The wide players are more inside forwards in the system Cooper likes to play.

Quantity and quality are two different things. We've got two decent signings a bit of money to spend and with rejecting Bopp and errr....that gadgie with the big name, we've already saved the printing money for the shirt.

I reckon Cooper will drag in a diamond or two in the next few weeks in the loan market and maybe another signing.
