Still keen on the B League idea and thought Hodgson did quite a good job at the World Cup     http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28421879

this bloke is a clown. The B league as previously discussed will not work. How will the future of english football benefit from playing the likes of little old hartlepool and the likes?

As he also states the germans promote the dutch representation at club level and he makes a good point that other that the english lads leaving southampton for liverpool and united, all other transfers have been from overseas. This is where the problem lies and needs resolving. The number of English starting 11 must be increased. Its no good makinga quota of squad players or match day squads. They need to be playing. I would go to say at least 5 English players need to be playing for English clubs in the PL.

The clubs have too much power so any proposal of quotas will be rejected anyway.

Why should they though?

For the good of the England team?

They have a product, like it or not, that works for them and makes them money.

Its not illegal, and no one has died.

Why should they change it?

Our league doesn't even get the top foreign players, we just get what the Spanish & Germans can do without.
Still better than what we produce though.
