There were a few Poolies there, including me. It was one of the coldest days ever! Unlucky Synners, great game.

I went along, shame about the missed chances, as you say MJ the first 15 mins of the second half Synners had them under the cosh, and should of taken advantage. I was just behind the away dug out, and a young Totton supporter was almost in tears when Synners equalised in stoppage time. He looked suicidal when they gave away the penalty, but was back on a high again when they missed it. He was on the pitch celebrating after their 5th penalty went in. It was a strange feeling today, I really got into supporting Billingham's second team, but I really don't know how to take defeat, it is such an alien concept to a Poolie.

I went. I walked to the game from Hartlepool and when I was about halfway there I was regretting my choice of a jacket over TWO fleeces and a t-shirt. By the end of extra time I was shivering. It was bloody nithering in that wind!

I thought Synners went off the boil a bit in the last half-hour of normal time. They started the second half great with the wind behind them and I think if they had scored then they would have won in 90 minutes rather than being left to regret two missed penalties.

I've had a couple of good days down Totton way. Good luck to them, hope they win.

Where was the game then, St T's?

Walked, Walked for St Danny's sake, was your car bust?
