His appearance at Rochdale was one of the worst displays at full back I've ever seen from a pools player, he couldn't pass a ball 5 yards

Think Pools did well to get a few Bob for him.

Wouldn't take him back.

I noticed him playing for Stevenage on the Football League show a few weeks ago and he looked about a stone overweight, I reckon if he sorted himself out he could be a decent player at this level, but sadly he will probably drift out of league football.

good riddance has never been more appropriate than in his case

he started off promisingly, and was excellent at centre half for about 6 months

that has been the peak of his career and he has gone rapidly downhill since

and he's still descending

I paid £200 for some aftershave once, I have it stored in an oil drum around the back of my 1 bedroom flat

These are the type of players I often bang on about, spoilt Premiership brats, Clark, Noble, Donaldson, Poole, Hartley, Barmby?. some are big headed some are just canny lads with the heart of a pea.

Not sure how you could question someone like Ben Clark's attitude and lump him in the same boat as kids like Donaldson and Noble.

Ben clark seemed to be a decent pro to me, would never class him as a young upstart.

You don't really need a Premiership grounding to become a bit of a knob. For many it only takes being a professional footballer.

Who can forget Denny Ingram's 'loadsamoney' gesture at blokes on the terrace he was probably earning less than. He was only wearing knock off Davidoff Cool Waters from the indoor market at the time as well.

Me. That was me. He was on £92 a week at the time. THE only Pools footballer I've ever wanted to fight. Arrogant, thick, ideas-above-his-talent knob.

But it was funny as fuck when he was chucked down the Corner Flag stairs at the Player of the Year do.

We would have had a lot less time for him had paul baker not been in the right place following that penalty at Shrewsbury! !

FFS PJ, I can't remember them all, but yeah Luscombe should of been the first player on the list.

Thats why I put question mark after Barmby, he could become one of those type players but jury is out at the moment.
I actually like him after some initial doubts, mainly due to the fact he gets goals from midfield, and that for us is a rare commodity and something all successful teams need. Big season for Barmby 2014/15 wherever that may be.

Disappointed Peter Hartley's been released. The other day we were just talking about the prospect of playing against him next season, counting on getting a couple of penalties for Marlon and Compo to fight over.
