I've just had some Venison sausages. DElish!

Went down the farmers market last Saturday, me n the mrs lashed about £50 on various meat, fish, cheese, cake (for her) and beers (for me)

Food like this just pisses all over supermarket stuff, sausages that don't shrink n aren't full of water, taste unreal, chilli n apple pork sausages. Can't beat it

our lass's dad brought some sausages and burgers round from there. We had them on Sunday tea time, they were cushty

Definitely better than e number riddled mass produced factory shite sold in bright packaging in Asda

We now get most of our groceries from the local butcher's/ fruit and veg shop etc... this way we only buy what we need, and we don't waste loads of money buying loads of shite and stocking it up, what is also bad for you on the whole

Yubep and Parmo are spot on. I would rather spend a little more and get quality meat and have a smaller portion than some of the supermarket water filled, additive crap.

On the other hand Aldi actually do some decent stuff. That's where I got the sausages from. 6 for about £2ish. Tasted meaty and not full of crap. Also their veg is decent.

Also in my old (ish) age I like getting cheap cuts of meat (Beef Shin or Pork Leg are my favouites), and slow cooking them. I got a slow cooker off Santa and it's brilliant.

Them there telly Chef's started raving about Belly Pork (which I loved) and was cheap a few years ago. As a result Middle England started buying it and the price went up.
