Do you think if Gateshead get promoted potentially it could have any impact on us at home games picking up thoose loose Newcastle and Sunderland fans epically if Pools are going to charge high prices to pay on the day.

just noticed they had over 8,000 at the play off game against Grimsby.

Someone quoted on here a few weeks ago that casual pay on the gate customers was only about 30 per game.

I have no idea if it is true but if so is just under 1% of our average gate.

I think there is danger of losing more core season ticket holders if we don't show any signs of building a competitive team early.

Just looking at one or two twitter accounts from Gateshead fans, there looking forward to playing Carlisle as their big derby game if they go up, no mention of pools.

If Gateshead go up it'll be a derby but a bit of a wet one, we can take a thousand up there n try n make it a good one but it's still just not right.

We will only ever have one derby game n it's gone now.

We'd take more than a thousand, forget the derby or even football element it's a potential good day out on the booze easily accessible on local public transport. See York last season.

I can't see it having any impact on our crowds as with on the day prices at the level they are our crowd is almost entirely made up of season ticket holders.

one snag of transporting so many Poolies to Gateshead is the poxy Northern rail service - only 2 carriages!!. A better bet would be the Grand Central to Sunderland then further along the platform jump on the metro - there's loads of metro trains so that would be my way of avoiding getting squashed on a northern trains service (which I have experience of at the Sunderland air show from last year - never again)!!!!

Don't bank on it, all it takes is a good hiding on the pitch and a good kicking off it and its game on

Would imagine all the local Tyneside dodgepots would turn out for this fixture initially. Don't think there would be a problem with Sunderland based Tyneside fans but the Mags think we are just another extension of boro, who they hate.
