Deducted 3 points meaning we could end up higher in the league, having said that is it only teams in the lower division who are given points deductions Re Sunderland 2 weeks ago

Suspect any team that finishes below Sunderland ( if they dont get relgated) may persue this through the courts..

Rules are slightly different for Premier. And the cases are different.

Sunderland played their own player and it was a technicality on paperwork that wasn't noticed. International clearance.

AFC Wimbledon played a player who wasn't even registered with them. His contract/registration ran out the day before.

It doesn't explain the discrepancy between us and Sunderland though we were deducted points for playing our own player (Liddle) due to a technicality. Only difference is that we're governed by the FA and Sunderland by the Premier and as I said rules are different.

Some reports said it was discussed at a Premier League meeting and the 20 clubs voted on a fine.

As long as Jordan Mellish's paperwork is OK we'll be fine.

Only one of the games he played was in the League Cup, against MK Dons, ran by the Football League.

It's alright because it's not as if they went on to get to the final or anything....

Like some Regency dandy to a beggar they'd kick you into the gutter with a clear consience.... we're nobody of any consequence to them......Whereas the Duke of Roker would be warmly welcomed back into the fold with only the mildest of mild rebukes.

only in public - then when they get inside and close the door, they'll all start to roll around laughing at everyone outside
