Ace! Knocked 40 seconds of my PB last weekend at Stewarts Park, which is a bit "up and down" so SHOULD be up for a sub-24 minute inaugral Hartlepool run as its literally flat as a fart. Marina Pier, to virtually outside The Staincliffe, turn and back. Did 25:09 in the trial three weeks back but was running with a slower mate.

Nooooo...no chance! Quite a few Pools regulars did the trial run like, think there will be a BIG turnout for this one. 245 at Stewarts Pk last week, I reckon they will match that .

Considering its a run along the Seaton Front I dont think they will be..

Enjoy the run everyone, won't be there this week as I'm at work. Will be there next week - hopefully a good turn out today.

I found the practice a few weeks back quite hard going. Hopefully it won't be too windy this morning.

Apparently my Darlo supporting mate took part today in a Darlo shirt, hope you all gave him the abuse he so thoroughly deserved.

Yeah, we had a collection for him!

Run it in a PB according to my watch of 23:54, which knocks about half a minute off my previous best. Brilliant turnout of around 280 runners, really well organised and well marshalled, enjoyed it!
